Heh heh.. More people have read Sword of Truth than I thought. Personally, I like the Wheel of Time better, but it was a great series, as well. Very nice skins kain; I just wish you'd be nicer to the skinners at the TOB forum. I dont get why you flame the hell out of them. Their skins arent as good as yours, some are CnP. Big deal.. I think you hurt some peoples' feelings. They tried to work on a skin and some guy starts calling them "idiot cnp newbies." Been wanting to say that for a while.. seen way too many poor guys get flamed by you. 9.5/10 on skins |

wow...all of them are very nice!!! is there any forum or hp for your project? |
| 12-19-2003, 05:03 PM | #37 |
Haha, Exocide, Abaddon was my second skin, I forgot I CnP'd that pentagram... right now I could easily recreate it though. Xin, I've never said anything like what you've said.. I was always a lot nicer than that when pointing out a CnP; but I see what you mean and I've been a lot nicer to people on the Tides forums in the last few months, nicer than I should probably be. Thanks Kurama. :D No forum or hp yet, but we'll be making one when our map is ready to be tested or we're finished enough... I didn't think it'd take so much time; hero abilities that are actually original take a lot of time to think of.. :foot: |

These are truly unbelievable. Abaddon's wings are ridiculously incredible, the spellbreaker has detail unlike any I've seen before, and that Crypt Lord has got to be one of my favorite skins I've ever seen. Constructive critiscism? I don't skin, so take anything and everything I say with a grain of salt: - The cross on Abaddon's chest looks very mundane as is, just adding some detail around the edges could accent it a little better. But in comparison to the wings, it just doesn't matter as much. - Alucard kicks ***. Creepy as all hell, well done, absolutely unique. - Gregorio's meaning seems to be lost on me, but it's a solid model. I'm not a fan of yellow on red and vice versa however. - I can't wait to see how the Headless Horseman looks without a head... that should be just the highlight he needs. Fantastic model. - Gar looks relatively simple compared to the rest, but he's also my 2nd favorite, just because his look is simple and effective. - I dun' like Mriswith's pants, but then again, who really looks at pants in a game? The scales are very well done. Very. - The Nameless One's armor and overall decor is very appropriate, and a good color scheme. His face seems a bit clueless though. :ggani: - Damn, Oba Ra is cool. It's effective, wacky, and sweet; all at the same time. Wish all models that were so "simple" could be so killer. - The Scarlet Edge has a clash of detail vs. business, and I think business wins this round. He looks fantastic, but it's difficult at times to tell what's what. The color scheme/name is exceptional. - I love Ungoliant, my favorite. I'm not sure why, but the overall impact of the model, and the creativity of it, it's very striking. Fantastic work. - Spawn seems like a solid model, but the design on his shield is little wonky, and he has that red/yellow thing I'm not a fan of. But the detail on Spawn himself is flawless.... simply flawless.... Just remember, that as much as I wish to claim otherwise, my opinion on skinning is moot. These are fantastic skins, all of them, and there are far too many good points to use, they would just overshadow my suggestions. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see what kind of map is in store for us. A solid 9.75, just as promised. :D |

I dunno I think it's a bit over-detailed, but hey, it's better than anything that I've ever done (I'll be back!:ggani:) |

There's a newer book? You have just made my christmas, I gotta go that :) And I don't suppose you'd be willing to sell either the gar or the crypt lord skin for some points? Obviously I dont have that many, but I could save for a while.....:bgrun: Nameless One...I think I've heard of a book with an antagonist in it with that name, but I'm fairly sure the one I'm thinking of was referred to as the Boneless One. And then again 'Nameless One' isn't all that uncommon for a title. |
