btw, if u want to have judges, tell the ppl to volunteer, so that they know wads they are gonna be, u cant force someone to be a judge...

and yes, plz dun directly tell a guy to shut up, thats plain rude...

But if people model edit, which alot of us can't it wouldn't be a skinning contest it would be a skinning featuring model edits. I can understand mdl editing but no attachments or brand new models.Skinning contest with the keyword being skinning.

We do need a contest, but we need to make it offical, i don't want to do it where you only get 300 points from whoever started it (even though thats quite a bit of points) or from donaters.

hey i just got a good idea. Maybey we can call KDE 2 judge he retired but im sure if we asked him he would judge.

what happeneds if someone c-n-p?

BANNED na just kidding. In My opinion c n p is a form of skinning its just harder to b judged. Ive seen some awesome c n p.But its a frowned apon art style

Judge different sections -

Like you could have:
5 best recolors
5 best redraws (256x256)
5 best cnps (256x256, or higher res CNP)
5 best high res skins (512x512 or higher skins, no CNP, only redraw)

Heres a few rules I made up if you want to use them.:

Anyone who is a judge, may not enter the contest themself.

There will be 10 judges.

Forumers may volunteer to be judges, but moderators have first dibs.

No custom models are allowed , unless it is a simple edit (No Geoset merging, etc, stuff like evening shoulder pads on a model, or making a material alpha-able is acceptable)

The skin must have been designed this year (2003)

The skin must be appropriate (I.E. no nudes and stuff like that)

If cnp is used, it must be from freeware sources, stealing from other peoples work, or ripping from skins in other games in not acceptable.

You may enter only 1 skin per section.
