crappy self portrait that I was going to shade smoothly, then I just got lazy and desided to do some crosshatch-lazy hybrid like thingy.... took 15-25 mins or so... *shrug* glasses are too big... yep

Heres a drow monk concept I was working on for a good hour or so... (much more time then that crappy self portrait).
I'm quite pleased with it. Prolly going to try to add more details and goodies. So keep in mind this is a WIP. looking for some Crits and comments on him.

in the realm of DnD monks are kinda fighters, they can be any allignment but must be lawful. (look at baldur's gate Dark alliance 2, Drow monk in there :ggani: )

Hmm, shading aside, there doesn't seem to be much variety in the line weight; might consider trying that sometime (I'm working on that a bit myself). Also, I think his right (our left) hand might be a shade small - there is something about it that makes me uncomfortable. If I can place it I'll be sure you let you know. =\

I personally liked the pencil drawing better, but that's just a matter of preference. Nice anatomy and interesting pose~~
