1. Weaddar or whatever, I don't care, stop flaming and insulting or whatever you're doing to Shimrra.
2. Shimrra never saw your map and so he made his system.
3. Who cares if he protects his demo maps? Shimrra will release an unprotected version when he's done...
4. Why can't there be more than two Hero Selection Systems? And why should you care if your selection system is far more superior?

I hope I have proven my point and haven't angered everybody or caused a flame war.

See I know what I can guess would be a basic fix but I would need an open version that I can look at it. I can read the .j just fine but then I see each of the functions obsfucated to some garbage like 3249084393 3492303248 etcetra so I would basically get so agravated and just rewrite.

My idea is you make all the buttons into an array, then put all the comments into a string array, then the descriptions into another string array and an ability array.

When the menus popped up I'm not sure how you do it but I assume your going to put the first 9 abils on a dialog, then a next page, then a cancel. So you would go with a for loop from startpt to startpt+9 or endpt (the last ability) create a dialog button with descrstring[integera] then save that to dialog button[integera]

Then you detect through a loop which button was clicked and add the apropriate ability from an array. (or increment it with an upgrade)

I don't have a hero selection system. Frankly I don't want to make one. See people need to read others arguements. I'm a child of the opinion that releasing a demo map should be released unprotected, I did that with DT4a nobody in there right mind would of wanted to use the teaser version. But if you were brave enough you could of looked at it and read the code. That all I'm saying, I generally would rather see the triggers before actually testing it in war3 as I can ussually just extract the .j file open Ultraedit32 and read through how he did it. Its a pain when someone obsfucates there map through protection.

I would send you you an unprotected version, but unfortunately it's a bit on the glitchy side right now. I make another quick replica of it and send it to to look at if want. And for the obscure functions and such, I believe it is because I used a very good map protector, although I'm not certain.

[edit] I got it to work, so you could have the full version.

Ok, besides the protected or unprotected thing ( Althought I think you could wait till you finnish the map and then release ) , I saw the map.

After I found that I had to press esc instead of typing "- Create Hero", I saw the way it does the spells,

It does its work, but from what I saw I think it is going to be really difficult to implement, Besides the fact that dialogs can be problematic, I think you are using multiple abilities for each ability and each one has, each one for a level, you could try using upgrades although they bring other problems, but at the moment a channeling spell stops when leveling- (That's the reason I think you are using add/remove ability, I could be wrong)

I wish blizzard could release a SetUnitAbilityLevel native

EDIT: Noted that you released an unprotected version, I will take a look of it.

My test map is almost done i ran into some problems with what blizzard allows you to check in booleans but i fixed that.

bah, just what i thought. This upgrades unit abilities, not hero abilities. You had to made 3 of each spell inorder to do it.

Don't worry my example map well be out real soon. Its a real intresting idea although triggers could be better i don't wanna spend more than a whole day working on it.

only bug i found so far is that if you level up an ability, the cooldown is reset to 0.. Anyway it's a really good system.. And **** off whoever is dissing it :)''
