Insomnia Graphics Stuff

just subscribing to thread... you people rock!!

i might want to use some of the skins... se how they develop. i was just wondering, we are finishing coastal conflict beta no1 now, without all custom skins and such, but for version 2 we want to have all custom skins.

could we maybe call upon Insomnia to do some of this?

Ill have 2 disscus this with the group. u could prob be our 4th project because we got 2 fin the undead pack, then The Big Chill, then fell elves then we would work on urs.
But i gotta se what the team wants. There arent that many skins 4 TBC 2 be done and where about a third of the way with this 1 so we'll see waht happens.

I thought Kain was making all of the skins for TBC?

alot of people made skins 4 TBC kain just did alot.

I'm stepping down from my Skinning 'obligations' in IG, as I want to spend more time modelling, so I guess I'm an IG modeller instead for when we get beyond using default units.

Besides, I can make a new unit faster than a kick ass skin that is wasted in low res Warcraft 3 graphics.

well, our skins wont be that much work i think.

a lot of the heros, especially on Illidans side, are well... pretty much elite versions of warcraft units and/or warcraft heros, becouse we have a quite tight story line.

i'll just put it all in a row... for reference or something.
concept drawings for most of the more complicated ones are coming, allthough the concepts will only be quick scetches; i dont want to take away all the skinners creativity ^^~!

Illidan-
Kathranis'Remar, spellbreaker. this one is an elite spellbreaker, of wich i would llike to alpha the mask and weapon. and ofcourse add some changes in his uniform to make him a little more lightish and leaderish.

Blaze the Burning, Pyromancer. being a formar bloodmage, the change here is minimal as well... only thing needed are some little orange tints... and maybe make his armor look a little lighter. (as in weight)

Medusa the Gorgon, i think sea wich would be fine...

Aphrodite, Temptress. has allready been done; basically its a blonde sorc with white robes.

Froak, Botulic. is a murg'ull that is half plant, making him dependant on sunlight to function properly.

Seera, Ranger. is basically a bloodelf archer hero.

Guna Lachbah, Myrmidon. is a naga Myrmidon hero, so no ned for a skin change... maybe make his weapon diffrent and add some unique thingies.

Hyill the Hulking, Sea King. is a sea giant hunter, not much to add on that area...

Usha Tendor, Illidans Disciple. interesting case, but mostly recolor. This is a Bloodelf demon hunter. so we would like his weapons to be like the spellbreakers... and ofcourse a red blindfold, lots of red and gold...

then, we have Maiev... the more interesting side.

Kryptikk Soulslayer, Soul Revenant. Revenant of the deep skin, is fine i guess.

Malgenadig, Nightmares Incarnate. allready done by Kadhar'Phak, but i cant remember if he ever finished it or not. supposed to be a really scary dark caster guy, but must be kept undead, no burning legeon crap >.<|

Anubis the Relentless, Pharaoh. is not actually the god himself... we where thinking to base this of a lich, becouse he looks very egypt allready, and make him even more egyptian looking, like a gold mask or something like that.

Kadhar'Phak, Scarabian Mauler. An egyptian looking crypt lord, with a black carpace with herogliphs in them and stuff... needs matching scarabs.

Lord Garithos, Horseman of the Apocalypse... we'll use deathknight for this, as well as Undead arthas on foot and a riderless nightmare. (arthass horse)

Muradin Bronzebeard, Frozen. an undead mountain king... i believe roze was working on this one, and its allmost finished, it was looking good in the last draft i saw.

Drena Darkstalker, Maievs pupil. a warden, what can i say? maybe alpha the helmet... that would be really cool and suit her well, also it would be kinda cool to make her armor a little less heavy looking, but i have no idea how ton do that.

Naisha, Sleepless. we'll use the old warden model for this babe.

Peera Perspicus, Ghost Ranger. we'll just use darkranger for this one.

we're still toying with some more concepts, for neutral heros, but these 18 are solid.

Shit, now thats gunna be more work wtf. Well we won't be doing cuctom models 4 a while, so i guess ur free of ur "obligations". Eventually were gunna have 2 get a fill in, i don't think theres 2 many people at his level. Don't list any people here Mock, final. just tell me urself. Oh and pms don't work 4 me i neva get them, i don't know whats wrong. I prob got like 1000 and i just nva recieve them.

@erwtenpeller : Well dosen't seem 2 bad. Its up 2 the group if u come befor or after the fel Elvs pack. I personaly really wanna get that done.

well dont worry about it... the first beta will be pure gameplay test, without t6he custom skins and stuff so... in v2 we'll put in some customs, and it looks like its going to take a while to get there, lots of stuff to gather.

quick post i gotta run. its alittle fuzzy because its in the origional 256 size.
il send u the skin lter so u can test it. Changed the color of the light on his spells there all blueish except his main 1 looks aqua-ish now.

:|... the undead skins pwn indeed... i might use some in me game.. knowing they'll all be released,.. i cant wait to see the undead MK ^^~!

I like the tauren white did it but what trows it off is team color. White didn't put much effort into that 1 i believe, but it is still awesome. The thing is hes supposed 2 be a lich king version. if the team color is purple and the glows on hell prob look sick.
