By the way, a Katana is a Japanese weapon (and word) not Chinese, lol. But anyways... Uhm... an axe would fit perfectly, however, she IS a ranged attacker, so I don't really know if her attack anims would fit the use of an axe.

Oh? Sorry about that, don't know any of the languages too much... They both seem the same to me :bgrun:

I will make some changes to the female orc's chest, but I'm still trying to understand 3dsmax better...

I made this model that I though looked good, but when I opened it later only half of the model was there...
(if needed, I'll explain better) :D

Help? anyone?

Oh, I'd wish there was an easier way than the tutorial on wc3campaigns to import your own models... :(

btw, can anyone explain how I create vertexes in 3dsmax, and will this screw up the model?
looked everywhere...

good news i got my war3fileconverter to work (Thank slowpoke!!)

Kojiro: yeah your right..i think you can changed the anims but then you have to change the bones and stuff...

EBJ:you should really get to learn the 3dsmax basics before doing the above standing... If you do, you could attach 2 grunt axes or something (decreased in size of course) and also you should get to learn UV mapping =)

and make that armour some dark silver and kind of rusty please? =) taht would be cooler

okay... I'm trying to learn about 3dsmax, but I can't seem to find any tutorials that are any good...

What I've done so far in the 3dsmax is mostly fooling around, trying to learn some stuff, in my own...
And that model I was talking about was just something I tried, and as I said, it didn't work...

I don't think the model editing itself is so hard, but to make it look really cool like some of the best models around is the hard part...

anyway, I'm still looking for a good tutorial, but those I've found really sucked...

btw, how do you get the silver color in psp 7?

I was editing the weapon on the watcher model, since I said I would try that, then when I was going to try and get it ingame I came to the notepad part with all the geosets...
needless to say, I gave up... :////

okay, so I've noticed that the tutorial uses win XP, which leads to a small problem in the geoset editing... I have win Me (sucks by the way) and I can't find any place where it says that I'm on line 111... (which I, accoring to the tutoria, HAVE to be) Do anybody know where I can find that out?

That's hopefully the only problem I'll have before I get my model ingame, so PLEASE help =)

btw, how do you take screenshots in 3dsmax?

The Watcher model is a melee attacker, unlike the panther-riding Huntress.

I think he means the former Assasin. If I recall correctly the model in this thread uses the Sentry as a base.

Okay, so I tried some geoset editing like the tutorial said, and the model got, well, totally F***** UP!

I noticed that the grunt that they use in the tutorial, has about eight different geosets that they edit, but my watcher model only had 3... Hmmm...

Anyway, I attached this picture to show you what I mean...
Don't laugh me out now :bgrun:
