GOBLIN Alchemist

I'm not going to ramble on about this but why wouldn't they.(Blizzard) Are they that infalable. You need to reexamine that pedastel you put them on any good designer reguardless of if their getting paid or not is tempted to plagerize. But, when they do it is alright because there the pro's right? wrong. I've been going to project ror's web site since way before the frozen throne and I'm telling you that if they didn't copy some things, I would be surprised. It's like taking candy from a baby. " whos go to believe you, I rich, and famous and you just a lowly child." Look, wether you believe me or not go there site and look and read about them. And expect more stolen stuff in the future. Blizzard has lost my respect.

Did it ever occur to any of you that maybe, just maybe, since the model clearly wasn't intended to be included in the patch, that it may have been a solo project someone was doing of their own accord for the hell of it that accidentally slipped into the patch? Like how some people draw other peoples' ideas for fun. Someone's probably going to reply to this with "well then why did they put all the work of recording voices and icons into it"--it's not that hard to speak into a microphone, and these guys are pro icon-makers anyway.

You know what I didn't think of that. And, your probably right. Maybe I'm just over reacting about the Alchemist model. But you know it is kind of weird about some of the other things that appeared in frozen throne. But those things I could understand be questionable. You know it wouldn't be so bad if Blizzard used and improved on ideas from the community and then gave credit to the respective designers. Or, what would be really nice if they held competition or communicated more openly with us so that we learn more. I say we should request a representive from blizzard to be a part time Q&A guy. I'm sure they pay attention to this and other sites. And Whitehorn their guy is also a surgeon.

Did you have a chance to update the map with all the abilities for him? Acid Bomb, Chemical Rage, Healing Spray, & Transmute.
Why does he use Thunder Clap, Stampede, Chemical Rage, Attribute Bonus, and Spiked shell (special)?
And I guess there is no particular reason the Alchemist overwrites the naga siren sounds?

P.S.- why wasn't the Naga siren ever used?

EDIT: HeroGalchemist_Portrait.mdx? is wrong, when i tried to fix it from HeroGalchemist.mdx_Portrait.mdx to
HeroGalchemist_Portrait.mdx, I get a bonch of colors in the portrait flashing.

I'm here at work and I can't download that map yet. Does that map really have a working Goblin Alchemist you can buy from the Tavern?

Could someone please say what exactly the Alchemist's spells do? I love new heroes and I'm very curious. Thanks for any help.

So, Blizzard stole the idea of a rider unit from ROR? OMG FEL have red skin!!

There's not many ways to do a goblin riding an ogre but its seems such a strange coincidence that the models look so much alike. I mean apart from the two swords of course.

They're making a mod for Warcraft 3. Not their own game, a mod for a game made by someone else. They're using Blizzard's style (yes, to be consistant), and trying to fit their work into an existing world, made by someone else. Isn't it daft to go and accuse the original author of copying something made by the person trying to mimic them, their game, their style?

That would be like WC3Player2 accusing me of copying his Spidermech, when I inspired him to make it by making my Scorpimech, which looks very similar, and is, without doubt, pretty much the same conceptual idea. Except I was the original.

Why double post on that? I have been waiting for someone to have a map with the Goblin Alchemnist with all of his true abilities.

I really can't see why blizz would steal an idea from anyone, perhaps maybe make a better version of, but also announcing that they got the idea from.... SO i don't belive it was a stolen idea.
