Warcraft3 TCG?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there's no way Blizzard is licensing their shit to a bunch of kids who want to make a card game. The card gaming industry is/was a cash cow and obviously Blizzard has considered it and probably dismissed it because it would diminish the esteem held in their high quality brand. If you want to make a modded map where you could simulate a card game, that's a decent idea, but anything other than that is naive.

I'd suggest ML gets a working playable version before thinking about selling it ;)

yeah nathanmx, youre overdoing it.

1. you dont even have blizz permission yet
2. a company need capital, especially if you want to make it worl-wide
3. its a pretty high risk too, so you wont get a credit for it easily, and even then it can likely fail and getting you into huge debts

you could maybe work something out to play it in a forum or just making them for fun to print for people to play it with friends, or do a map with that.

it actually poses the question to how much you know about war3 modding. The amount of tools/resources blizzard produce simply screams out "do some fan stuff". The fact that your new here gives a possibility that you dont know too much about how blizzard treats it's fans. I did this for leisure originally, ive made shitloads of top trumps, and decided it was about time to make my own list of TCG rules. Ppl suggested i sent in to blizzard. i figure what the heck.

Blizzard are not the ones who exactly hate war3 products right now.
action figures. rpg's..theres shitload of war3 stuff everywhere. While you argue that theyve allready considered it. what they probably havnt considered is that they can actually get people who will make the cards for them! they dont need to do anything but say "ok".

if your going to come waltzing in here, acting all big using phrases "like sorry to burst your bubble" and "bunch of kids" around here, you aint got no authority to say it like that. Gimme some respect, and maybe i'll give some to you.

Alright well a few things. One, if you make the game and not sell it, you can't get sued. It is b/c its a fan creation and not a sellable product. Two, Now I'm sure if you make a really good demo blizz might think about b/c hell, they made wc3 the board game which blows ass.

Even if the concept is feasible, there's no way Blizzard would let amateur fans make it. There's this thing called a publishing house. They can print stuff for cheap because they have thousand-dollar equipment. Plus there's packaging costs and necessities. So unless one of you works at Wizards of the Coast or something...
Also, if Blizzard were to produce a card game it would be based on WoW, not WC3.

now you got me curious ^^
as long as there is no or few risk involved for me, I could agree to make a regional Distributer for it, however, the swiss may not be the first market you may want to cover :\ , even when you dont translate the cards & rules into german.

Have you even contacted Blizzard who's intellectual property and the artists who's work you have simply used without permission?

Nathan James (Orenthal) Buckley! WHOo, I can play this game too... retard. You get way too excited about this stuff. No offense, but you need to tone it down- it's reminding me of the old days (immature).
Anyways, anyone can make up numbers (.025 per card lol) but unless you own a publishing house, gg. And I'm not spamming or flaming or anything like that. All I'm doing is bringing some reality to you fools. :<

P.S. Calm down dude... seriously.
