W00t! New features!

-By the way, are you going to edit ShadowFlare's .DLL file for this project, in order to improve it.

It can read the new flag, but it can't write.

It looks pretty good so far, but it is still missing features that WinMPQ has. BTW, did you use any of the source code for WinMPQ to help you make that program? If so, put that in the credits, too.

Also, has anyone ever tried compiling the WinMPQ source on VB6? If so, is it any faster running on VB6 instead of VB4?

Should be significantly faster. Either VB5 or VB6 (can't remember which) started being able to compile native code.

I don't use any of WinMPQ source, I only take as example some features (MPQ Embedder and graphical interface of Configs Tab).

Don't you remember BlacKDicK's special version which added user-selectable buffer levels? You even posted a comment on it. This was in June 2003.

Hi,

PowerMPQ appends an extra 0 byte to the end of all files it extracts.
This is usually harmless but can make some binary files appear corrupted to tools which are checking end-of-file conditions.

Where would I go to find file lists for the MPQ files that come with WC3?

PitzerMike
There you go
http://scfreak045.netfirms.com/

The war3patch.mpq listfile will probably not be up to date, you can find the latest one in a recent post by Lord Vexorian in the Editing Tools forum

BTW your TFT listfile sure is overkill.
It even contains all SC and WC2 files.
