Quantam: It was originally something like that. I've ported the code so many times that I'm actually starting over with the new interface that I'm making. Everything is starting to look cluttered in the code and there is a buch of shit that's just commented out =P Anyways, I'm going to start fresh with the DLL that I'm almost done writing. It ia already speeding up the program now, but the code is just to cluttered to keep porting it to different libraries. knightking: Yes Quantam's diagram was better than mine, but we can also tell that you have no clue what you are talking about. |

How so? You agree that quantum's diagram is better than yours. I assummed that you were sending the file through your program in mpq writing, so I put it in, and thats the only difference between Quantum's and mine. You, on the other hand, put your program in after sfmpqapi, which shows that your program does the actual writing of data to the mpq, which it does not do. |

I made a mistake int eh diagram; that's not the actual flow of the process in my program anyways. Get over it, you already proved yourself to not know what you are talking about before. |

howso? By having a diagram that works, compared to yours? |

knightking: Just shut up. If you don't have anything constructive to post, then don't post it. You are just being very annoying and are not helping anyone. Until you do something useful, don't bother posting. |

I could say the same, as I haven't seen anything good out of you either... but your stupidity is getting boring. |

Aww. But watching this all is so very amusing. |

Quantum, you know the whole reason I flame people is because its funny. |

Sure now make excuses to try to save your ***. In my experiences, programming is not easy work, and though I haven't used C++, I can only imagine how difficult it must be. I would love to see you even ATTEMPT a program as good as this one. |

Can anybody tell me why TechMPQ imports network communication functions? This is the kind of thing I'd expect to see in a cd-key stealer. I don't think I'll be running TechMPQ again... |

I'm a noob. I have no idea what's Tech's diagram means. The arrows go right. Then it goes down and goes left. Its like a vicious cycle. But Quantams just goes one way to the end zone. Am I missing something here? And I'm being quite serious here. I may not be a programmer, but diagrams should be easy to follow and understand. Though I need to ask, why so many MPQ readers and writers? I mean, its not like Quantam's going to pull a microsoft or something. |

knightking - it appears you have some programming knowledge, use it to better community not to try and flame someone who has developed a program and KNOWS what they are doing. I think skull said enough from above. Technetium - You ever have any problems, hunt us down. :) we will help. Hope this cools and everyone can go back to the world of Warcraft III. Dang this thread just gave me an idea for a MOD. (Post it later) Thanks DKSlayer |
