Well, I've been working on a model of certain female character (no names for now) and just for fun I've given her an "undead" look. She turned out to be an excellent model for female vampire. Now I'm asking myself, male or female bloodsuckers? Well, you'll have to wait for both models a little bit (say, until tomorrow?), but I guess the best solution would be the middle one - use both. Except, then I'll need to figure out another model for that female character...

Well, to tell you the truth, they both look kinda Dark Elven to me. I guess I'll have to get back to the drawing board.

Anyway, here's both models. I appologize for bad coloring of the male, the shot was taken at night, thus the strange bluish look...

Very beautyful, tufy. It's great. And i have a question: would you protect your campaign with your models, or not?

Once the campaign comes out, all models I made will be public.

I think u should use just the male1, but u'll need to change the sorcs hood a little, so they dont look so alike. i just thought that a vamp is a Undead elf, what u think of that?

EDIT:oh i forgot WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO finally i get to see them!!!

Well, actually, right now only the guy is fully animated. It is the original Vampire I intended to use. The female skin was made just for fun to see how it looks, but the model will probably be someone else. The original Vampire (male) doesn't have elven ears, wich makes him more of an undead human.

However, I made up a story for them that places them as a separate race, much like humans or trolls. They are creatures of night that multiply by infesting humans, who become vampires in time (i.e.: after they die). The vampires are a human equivalent to Night Elf - Satyr relationship. While Satyrs are corrupted Night Elf remnants of War of the Ancients, the Vampires are corrupted human remnants of the ancient human kingdom of Arathor (see Warcraft history).

<?>, there's a number of reasons for that:

1. I'd have to make up their history
2. The Blood Elves or Satyrs, as wielders of demonic magic, fulfill their role superbly
3. I's have to make their buildings, units, magic,... wich is a lot of additional work
4. I don't like the general idea of Elves going bad. The Elves are supposed to be a divine race of creatures who protect life above all else. The Drow simply don't fit the frame. If elves do something bad, they do it because of error in judgement (see Feanor's family in Silmarillion for instance: they have been just as good Elves as other Noldor. Their deeds were simply a consequence of a promise they were not allowed to break). And additionally, Warcraft universe already has demons that are both warriors and excellent magic wielders. Demons like Kil'jaiden would simply have no reason to create a beautiful, but evil race (for all we could see demon magic corrupts the body of his wielder, not makes it beautiful), if it were just as fragile in battle as Elves are. The Drow just don't fit the frame.
