Ebola is a sickeningly deadly virus found in African Rain forests. There are four strains: Marburg (found in Ketum Cave), Sudan, Zaire (most deadly), and Reston. The Reston strain was discovered in the early 90's by groups of scientists in Ft. (can't remeber name). It was in a Monkey House where I live. My parents were scared shitless when they heard about it. After all the monkeys were purged, they took the petri dish back to Ft. something (srry , forget) and tested on it. It was a virus akin to the Ebola strains breakouts in the 80's. It only effected monkeys (Reston) though, oddly enough.
The virus itself is quite disgusting. Your balls swell up and turn purple and blue, your eyes bleed. Cells die quickly, and everything turns into a disaster. If you are pregnant, then the fetus will be aborted and be born with RED eyes. no joke. You also spew out black vomit, which is RED with black spekels.
The most deadly form of the virus is called the Mayinga strain of Ebola Zaire. It kills within a week. (90-100 % death rate). If it became an epidemic, it would kill fatser than AIDS, although that is not likley. AIDS also is a supermutant that shifts it's code almost every couple of epople, leaving a cure hopeless. It's in a eally good book called the Hot Zone. It's cool.
