The face on the male archer looks kinda goofy. Try to make it slimmer, more like a high elf's face would be

are trolls and elves related? they both have pointy ears, i realize that's not really enough to go on but it is kinda odd

i doubt they related because of the ears, the elves got like, u know LOOOOOOONG ears.....

Sorry for being absent such a long time. I'm making a lot of modeling lately and in about a week time I have an important exam that I need to pass in the first try, so things will slow down for a short time.

Runemane, I know the face is a bit wierd and doesn't really fit Warcraft. I'll probably get back to it once the rest is done (unless someone else can improve that face). And yes, I did get your E-mail, just didn't have time to reply yet. I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Belisarius, no, the Trolls and Elves are not related. It is said in Warcraft Manual that the Troll civilization predates that of the High Elves by several thousand years (Elves lived in Kalimdor, Trolls in Lordaeron).

hmmm, maybe trolls and goblins are family?

I've been thinking in that general direction, perhaps making trolls a "suicidal" fanatics army. But the possible problem may come from the fact that troll workers then wouldn't make much sense. Well, I might have already figured that problem out (having both troll and goblin slaves, one for lumber and the other for gold), but I'd rather not say anything specific for now.

Also, I might change the Wood Elves concept. Though they will still have some buildings on trees (most notably large settlements that come in a couple of missions), most of their base (except for Archer nests) will be on the ground. I intend to make a very specific and easily recognizable wooden structure design. More will be known soon. Oh, btw.: their name may change to something like Darrowmere Elves or Lake Elves (they live on and around Darrowmere Lake, with their most powerful sanctuary at Caer Darrow).

Well, that's about it for now.

Maybe its just me, but i like the name Wood Elves... but if your so resigned to change it Lake elves i guess is the best option...
as for the "not on trees anymore" things, great this can only mean the Campaign will be out sooner rather than later. As for Goblins and Trolls i'd keep them seperate, simply because they originate on different sides of Azeroth(world) The goblins come from Undermine(the southern islands) and the trolls are clearly from the northern area: around quel'thalas...
