This is just the minor updates.

Ragnarok, I'm not sure about the whole terrain, but could you help me figure out what enemy goes where???

Raditz

Whoops, uhmm hehe i really didn't plan out what enemy goes where, thought you'd just add them up. Except Buu and Cell at his little Games. But the map I made was just a solution.

Edit: I'd throw you out too after that mouthful of garbage. And because you act like you just had your cock cut off when Hexen wants to drop you. Idn't like the end of the world.

Yeah, few things you forgot though.

A shallow water path from roshi's Island to the beach.

Left side of the beach contains Raditz.
Right side of the beach is open area... but is accessible without having to defeat raditz first. No big drawback.. but some newbie might wander off and get smashed in the head by an android.

I'm going to say the terrain is perfect, but the problem is you don't have to defeat each boss/area before going to the next. No worries.. that's one of the features of most Open RPG's. Right now I'm just messing around with what goes where, and adding in some of the old features. The dragonball system is working perfect. I spotted a dragonball already on the cliffs around the Buu area.

This is going pretty smoothly. Should have a major update tomorrow night.

Yeah I didn't know what I was doing with the whole roshi Isle thing, shouldn't be too hard for you to do.

I'd hate to be the guy who did that, though once a newbie gets killed by an android and brought back to life, he prolly won't be doing that again.

Well Yes I did think of this and took it into severe consideration. I was thinking boss to boss areas would be nice but a big pain in the ass for players who are stronger. If a level 300 guy comes into a level 1's game and killed all the bosses because he wants to get to the stronger enemies, the new level 1 guy would be bummed and would have to restart. This is the only reason I did this. I also thought it would be pretty annoying to have to run through each boss every single time you play.

Yeah, I thought about that. I believe that area will be used for garlic junior anyway, so I might add some blight to work as the mist he used in the garlic junior saga to change everyone to zombies, but I like the terrain so much I most likely wont. I'm working on 5 types of saibamen right now. They will have different levels and spanned over the areas for the saiyan saga, and maybe some more of the first parts of the map. They will be in five different levels, all having different difficulty. Levels 1,5,10,15,20. Raditz will be level 5, but will be as strong as the final level saibamen. He will be a hero and have decently high agility, although his main attribute will be strength. The agility will just be to increase movement speed and a small armor boost. If you try and fight him alone before taking on about 5 or 10 saibamen, he may kill you and level up, becoming stronger!!!

Oh, and the enemies you can unlock with the dragonballs, will be exact versions of the ones on the map. They will all specialize in something, so expect a high level raditz to have a very high agility, as opposed to other heroes.

I think you guys get what I'm trying to say. Just giving a basic explanation of the first part of the map.

One thing struck me as insane. Once you unlock Brolly you will annihilate the entire map, Or is that something you planned? I understand you said it would take 3 months of playing to defeat Brolly, that's pretty cool. This being because I like a game that actually takes time to beat. I remember people playing Final Fantasy Open who were level 300 in an hour or two. That isn't right...

Yeah.. 3 months to get to brolly and actually beat him. If you are alone, you'll need to use the dragonballs to power-up your abilities. If you decide to use your dragonballs to unlock enemies, you'll have to find all 7, which could take anywhere from a week to a month, up to 20 times just to unlock broly. Once he is unlocked, yes, broly will have the power to destroy everything if he sees fit. I'm guessing it'll be about 3 months before ANYONE defeats broly. I'm guessing nearly 6 months before anyone unlocks him. I planned this quite well, and I have a great deal of intellect towards this kind of stuff, so you'll be sure I'll find another way to keep the map alive EVERY update.

Can you show me a screen shot of one of your models in like wireframe mode? I can't figure out this crap looks like a buncha shapes are connecting a guy thats made up of squares.


But of course you'll have to level up Brolly to level 900 before you can actually beat Brolly Again...

Actually, max size has been increased to 480x480.. but terrain size alone is about 2+mb when fully developed.

No, no Recoome model. The number of models I put in the map greatly depends on the file space left after I add everything in. If the map is done and there's still space, I might add a few more models, or even two new unlockables with models... Hercule and Bardock.

Also I think the 480X can only be done if you substiture some of your H/W for the other. Like 480X Width and 32X Height.

I already have bean and bag models.. lol.

For skinning, get Lithunwrap to unwrap and photoshop or something to skin.. hell you can even use MS Paint if you want.

And no, there actually turned out to be a way to make your map 480x480 without having to substitute length for width or any of that. Someone is actually making a 480x480 b.net project right now.
