Some people always try to plan things out before starting out on terrain, leaving open room for tracks. Though some people just go and make what they see fit, meaning that they might not have enough space on the end. That's all what I meant with it.

also they are custom models so may have to be changed to make space, or just allow it to go on b.net.

That too, but I don't think rails will take up so much data-space ;)

but still u could change them to zepplins easy, and it wouldnt make much differene whether they were in or not so they would be changed if we run out of space in the end.

Hey guys im in Alberta now and btw those train tracks are from the goldmine so there are no skins or anything which means they take up like no space. You could fill the map with them, there only a geoset merge. Ahem i have gotten in fights but for competativeness and i wont anymore but i just had a rough time. Anyway its going great here and actually if we want the terrain finished Baron should install the tracks since i dont have warcraft 3 here im just using my dads (wireless high speed) laptop wich is annoying to write with.

So i dont wanna do the tracks anyway its nothing special its just i thought of the whole idea but what ever. Baron hows the terrain going, fun at the sleepover? Its annoying is hotels but i gotta manage till i go shopping and then after vacation i got 3 days before school starts so its going to be hard to keep up and i'll be back in a while. The thing that would go well in towns is restaurants where you can eat(heal) and talk to your friends, a non-combat zone like the plains. Are there going to be random wars between towns where everyone has to get ready, that might be cool but im not the boss,lol. Hmmm what else...

Hows the dialog map i made the food system will go good and i think the trains will be attractive and also the zeppelins, but they should be extremely expensive. EXTREMELY! For the most part i hope this still goes well with us all on vacation, the weather is bad but im still haveing fun, with my family. Now are there going to be spell shops on the side of a road that u can get spells and/or quests? That would be neat.

Too bad Fladian is leaving the forums he was neat to have i mean he though of the great name and changed the name for us so people will come. I'm, just worried that people are going to barge in here and start talking about offtopic things, then we will need Fladian to stop that. We want this to be a secret forum dont we, or is that what you two originally intended.

To make a long post, short(er) i have to say this is going Extremely well besides me if i wasn't here then everything would be better but i guess i found my way here. :) ttls to everyone.

Have fun in Alberta Falco. I didn't expect to see you back here during your vacation. Anyway, smart thinking about those rails... I didn't think of it at all. Anyway, Falco, we all have rough times once in a while, but that doesn't mean we have to start fights. I doubt anyone of you noticed, but I got an extremely bad time these last 3 months. My mood will clear up at the start of September if not, then it will only get worse. Though it wouldn't matter, if it would clear up, you probably wouldn't see it ;) I left the forum then :P

About those random wars, I'm very fond on the idea. Since it would give a lot of the story. The war isn't over as I recall. It isn't 'too' much work to make it either, so I don't see why it shouldn't be in.

Bad weather on a vacation or not, it could always give a bit of luck in the end. Who knows... but you said you were having fun, and that's what counts, I guess. (Not to mention that it's storming here in the Netherlands... rather, at the place I live. And they call this summer? Ugh!)

Spell shops on a side of road...? Hmmm... not the best idea... I would like it more if there was 1 in a city and that priests in a Church could learn you high level spells.

Falco, Monk, Joho, I am *only* leaving the forum if I got a handful of luck, courage and confidence on the first of September, or the sixth or seventh. A dream which I have yearned for should come out then, and I am willing to spend ALL my free time on it instead that I usually spend it here on the forum. Anyway, the name is no real problem, I'm a pretty creative guy and I think of things every moment, so the name is no real problem. Anyway by the time I leave I'm sure a new mod is assigned here, maybe here could help you more. As you might have seen, when I was just a member I was able to stop off-topic stuff (actually, usually starting them :P), SPAM and flames. Why should you guys be different?
I'm originally a shy, unconfident, short, weak guy. Isn't that enough to show? Even though I can't do a lot of things, but I still do it. Why can't other people do it too?

Falco, creating a private forum for Dark Intentions is out of my league. I'm just a mod. You know, a guy that annoys people because he can do more and stu.. err... never mind that.

Everyone, the day I leave the forum, I'll send a PM to Draco, to remove my mod status and I'll create a thread in the Team Gathering forum (here with other words), I will start a project, release my campaign, the demo, the cinematics I made and all my other non-finished maps. A good way to leave the forum, no? (I'll be sticking around from the day I leave, but lesser and lesser until I leave permanently) I might be thinking too far, but 50% chance of success is enough to give me hope...

Go to a gym? :\ That will really make no difference. Especially with my arm condition. Luck, Courage and Confidence will only play a role for me right now. Nothing else at all.

ok everything went off-topic again, i think u are right flad u start most of the off-topic ness but still be better if u stayed, u will be back though, they always come crawling back :P any1 i think it would be easier being short i bang my head on most ceilings and it hurts so i think youre lucky, anyway enough about u (u turned me off-topic again *cries and begs not to be banned*)
we will have spell shops in the towns and cities but not on the side of the roads, or maybe a wandering merchant who sells special abilities and items but is hard to find.

random wars seem quite good but we wil have to be carful how we do it cos it could end up destroying a certain town if it isnt balanced but still a good idea wat wont be that hard to make just take a bit of time to fine-tune, but worth putting in.
the dialog wasnt good falco leave dialogs to me, u made it so it will only work once in the game not good :( food system is good though.

If I leave, I won't be back Falco. Not because I don't want to go back, I don't even want to leave, but if I have no time to visit, I am forced to leave. That is just a fact. Sorry about it. Being short is not a good thing here in the Netherlands, usually you're being made fun off and stuff. Not that 'I' really mind, but it does happen. Quite embaressing if most 'girls' are larger then yourself though :P

A wandering merchant... hmmm... very nice idea. Why not a small caravan going from town to town with some nice rare items each time you meet him. Though he can be attacked during one of his trips to an other city/village meaning that he can die and you cannot buy his items. Personally I would like it :)

Those random wars, just send a large group of units at a town and give the other town some nice protections, some nice towers, some archers on walls or something, you get my point.

Well, about the terrain once again (no wonder there are 25 pages here...it's mostly spam, no offense), I have some news. I am going to be starting school in a week, I began SOME of the terrain, but this is (and I am gradually noticing it more and more), a huge project that I 'agreed' to. Just a little heads up, you should look for another good terrainer, since I might not be able to finish it. I am getting to the point where WC is just boring to me.

Not again! Ok who is gunna do the terrain. But this was a nice forum jump since there where no offensiveness for the time being and hopely forever. Anyways about the merchant i meant in the cities and ofcourse the brilliant idea one of yo i dont know who thought of which Darky had in his Natures Call Circle towerdefence thing... But yeah, there should be two, One for healing and potions who would probably be that troll with the staff and another for axes and swords who might be a footman or a paladin.

Ummm i think that all the features are nice but its soooo overwelming for a 256x256 map in which....brb im having cofee...lol and if we are going to use that small of the terrain we gotta unfortunatly cut the triggers and features but i really dont want to do that so it would need to be bigger and since our terrainer quit becuz hes bored so its gunna be tough. Besides the terrain once again i am happy with our performance and quality effort.

Ok Fladian whats the reason for you wanting to retire, to find your dream of making a campaign? Well thats a bummer you where a good help. Cyaz

Now back on topic we have the Loading Screen, Minimap, Triggers for the good part, Planning, and the Skins done. Good Job crew!

falco 256x256 is EPIC it is as big as u will be possible to have on b.net without tremendous lag, triggers would be the last thing to cut out as games are much better if they have good gameplay not graphics so any unneeded graphics will go out first.

damn u baron we need a terrainer why do u all leave us :( anyway one of the merchants could be "Fladian, the travelling bard" in memory of some bloke forgot his name now :P
i got an idea 4 a quest aswell "find the terrainer" it could be impossible no matter how many times u find one u will have to keep looking ^_^

p.s. if it helps flad my laptop is getting on a bit now, its 3years old so it aint wat it used to be :(
