1. Maybe u could make it so each unit has "Guts" point this mean that when a unit get tackled the "Guts" point will drop from 100 to 90, and every single minut u could make every unit on the field drop 5 "Guts" point which will confers to a unit being tired (u could make that when "Guts" Point is equal or less than 50 set movemant speed to 100, and then u could confer 25 "guts" Point so the unit would have 70 in move ment speed). I would suggest a leader board for this action ^^ also when when a unit is passing the ball then u should make some kinda catch range, so the unit u are passing to have to press "C" within of "300 to catch the ball.... little advanced but it would be very cool, with injuries and stuff =) |

If your going to make units explode durning a replay sequence, then I would definately make it a larger explosion than just a little splat that NORMALLY is made.....I would take the thunderclap spell, and make it into a special effect, then use that under the unit. Then modify the goblin sappers "kaboom" spell, to make it really huge. Then get a huge explosion sound. And put all those together to make one H*LL of a replay!!! Other than that, I dont think that exploding units would work. But I know that the instant replay is possible, as is the "Clobbering", now that Ive been reminded of the death animation. Heh...You can make the unit fall flat on his back, then replay it backwards to make him get up. You should make all the units have to run from the huddle, after a "BREAK" sound clip, and make them all get into formations. :D Man, im still amazed at the power of the world editor....STILL....Even after having it for a year. This map could possibly be the best map of all time. 0_o |

Awesome, that's so sweet that you can actually implement Instant Replay. And now i have another idea. What if each team had a "key" unit. Kinda like All-Stars. And these units would have unique stats. For example, Speed, Throwing range for the QB, Catching, and minimun range for tackling. These units could also have different looks so they could be easily recognized. You could have like 1 superstar per team that you pick in the beginning. What's your choice, a super quaterback to throw the hail mary's, or a super fast cornerback(I'm not very familiar with positions) to sack the QB! Or better yet, you choose which position you want the all-star to be, then you select the stat that he is proficient in... that seems pretty far out there, but players would feel that they have a tactical advantage if they could pick their own All-Stars. Just a suggestion 8) |

Oh Oh! I have another idea, INTERCEPTIONS!! This could be quite possible to do. Have a region follow the reciever labeled "interception", and if the defender find a way to be in this region when the QB throws the ball.......INTERCEPTION !! This might be really tricky though, cause you have to time it with the "football projectile" somehow.. I don't know, I'm not that good with triggers, I'll leave it up to the pros to figure it out. I will no doubt be back with more ideas. Can't wait to play this map :ggani: |

Naturally, interceptions will work. My throwing system is like that there will be a beacon placed that can only be seen by teammates. If the enemies, by somehow, is smart enough (or maphack *wink*) can sense that coming, he might be there before the player. Remember, the projectile is FAST, so it should be very hard for interceptions (as in real football) |

Ahh cool, I get how your doing this now...Your making the "beacon" have the invisability ability, then making a variable for were the quarterback throws the ball (attacks the ground) that is a point on the playable map region. COOL....If a team mate is in that "area" then they can get possession of the ball. Wow....Just cool stuff here. Well, you could do it another way, but dang, this is truely going to work, and smoothly too!!!\ Mech-Sheep, if you figure out how to make units play the death animation without making a death noise or spilling blood, and uhhh, not turning into a ghost and flying up (as heros do), then tell me. It'd be cool for my map also. Because then if the players are at a certain percent of health, and are hit, they can fly flat onto their back....or fly headfirst into death...lol. Keep up the good work, and if you got any of the throwing mechanics down, maybe you could make a few screens of the map in action. :D |

I might start over when TFT comes out. It will have lots of neat features that I might be able to incorperate in my map. If someone takes over this project, I'll send the SWAT team to shoot them. |

Mech-sheep, this map is too good to stop....You must make it NOW...YOu MUST....If you dont restart, and start working on other things besides the spinnaroni, im going to take mute city and dreamland out of my map, and canceling the music for all levels. :nono: |
