This project seems dead. I haven't been contacted once, DI. Are you still working? I've been busy myself on some other map. I will tell you nothing for reason I don't wish to disclose. I haven't seen you on AIM or anything. IT just seems like everything stopped. |

I have a REALLY great idea for a system where two players are merchants and have to compete to sell players items. They can buy market locations to build their shops, the cheaper ones in more out-of-the-way areas, and the expensive ones in busy areas. They buy shops that sell dull items at first, but can upgrade and buy more shops. The most expensive ones would have super items that would sell well. Every marketplace would have a certain amount of space for shops, and the larger ones could cost lot. The shop owners have to pay a 25% charge to restock their sold-out items and could buy a large stock of the most popular ones. Super expensive shops could sell things like orbs or tomes. I think that this system could be a LOT of fun, and I know I'd like to play as a merchant! Tell me what you think! |

People, I've begun work again, with the trigger which got trown away. For this project to be a success, I need good spells, good skins, good items and nice gameplay funny thingys. I'm planning on doing a semi-serious humor map, but since noone gives me ideas, I might just make a "regular" map with 80% new features. Please give me more ideas, of all kinds. If you need a screenshot of the map, please look at the STFU Arena forums (link is in my sig). There is a screenshot posted. Helpme, what the pumpkins is wrong with you? This is a perfectly good thread, and there's nothing wrong with it. He is making a map and needs a few good ideas. Does that offend you somehow? You just made yourself out to be a lil bastard by rudely interrupting us and being mean. Anyways... Dead-Inside, I highly reccomend the Discworld series. It's a huge parody of fantasy, and really funny! If I think of another idea for this map, I'll be sure to post it. BTW, I like pirate heroes, they're cool. Oh, can you skin? Pirate skeletons would be awesome! |

I will not flame you HelpMe. However, I will tell you the situation. Since you seem to be someone who doesn't read (listen, or think) before he posts (talks or acts). If you would have checked out the new STFU Arena forums, all the features that are already planned, and are ATM being triggered, are written down. It has a load of features that you have not seen before. The reason why I have an idea thread is because: 1. I am not good at giving MYSELF ideas to play with. I'd rather play with others ideas and shape them into my own. If you ask playamarz you can ask him how he and I are working at the new map called "Cities Of Fire" (cosiding with STFU Arena, which is my own project). 2. I'd like to get others viewpoints, not only my own. I'd like to, basicly, hear what people want to see. Now you could make it simple to yourself and say "I want to see a big fire and like a circle and water splashees!! Big things I haven't seen before". That doesn't give me anything to work on. 3. It SHOULD go a lot faster, and when I'm working on the actual map, someone else is giving me ideas to play with later. I have also already planned a few things, regarding the Ideas Needed part of the thread (first post). However I do not feel like editing since someone can come with a better idea until I actually make it. Now before you spam (or flame), try making your own, advanced, map. Thank you. Hey Dead-Inside, heres some ideas I thought up for your Hero Arena. 1.) Have a wisp that selects the hero of your choice. Make sure the wisp has exactly 120 life and cannot build anything. If you want to get real creative, you could make each wisp the color of the person who has control. Don't forget to remove the "detonate" ability so your "12 and under" crowd doesn't destroy their wisp by mistake. 2.) Make more than 5 heros to choose from. Some of the heros can even have more than 1 ability making it real complicated! 3.) Lastly, This brilliant thought hit my mind today when I was doing some 'STFU Arena' pondering. You could even have shops that SELL ITEMS! Not just any item, but some of the items can increase agility, or even damage! Below are some ideas for items. Items: Agility Belt: Increases Agility by 3, 200 gold. Tooltip: Increases the Agility of your hero by 3 points. Items: Strength Belt: Increases Strength by 3, 200 gold. Tooltip: Increases the Strength of your hero by 3 points. Items: Intelligence Belt: Increases Intelligence by 3, 200 gold. Tooltip: Increases the Intelligence of your hero by 3 points. Items: Life Belt: Increases Life by 300, 500 gold. Tooltip: Increases the Life of your hero by 300 points. Items: Attack Belt: Increases Attack by 3, 600 gold. Tooltip: Increases the Attack of your hero by 3 points. Items: Super Defense Belt: Increases Armor by 5, 1000 gold. Tooltip: Increases the Armor of your hero by 5 points. Regards, HelpMe P.S.
