Edit: Oops! Nvm viet.

Harbingre: You can download it from www.ragnarokonline.com, it doesn't take long provided you have a decent internet connection, but it will take around an hour..maybe. I'm pretty sure the monthly fee is $9.99 USD. When they started charging I stopped playing... I was broke. Thanks for the feedback on my terrain..and my avatar/sig!

Heh, looks awesome Drider, im sure it will be a great game. The story and pictures of current cities looks very good, and it's a nice idea that you are bringing the ragnarok universe over to the rest of us Warcraft players :D .

1 question though: so, either i diden't read all replies correctly or are you going to make it possible to enter specific *zones(places)*, like in the orc campaign but on multiplayer?
I do hope so, but i think you will need a good mod for that.

That is all :ggani:

I can't spread too many secrets, but unfortunately, we aren not going to connect all the maps. A tad too much work, and it's just a lot simpler just to have a series of them. The maps will be "connected", however, but not actually connected. It will be like if you layed all of the maps down, it would fit together like a big puzzle. Thanks for the feedback on the city, Draconicus. Check back here soon for screenshots of the first terrain around the city, and possibly another town by Reina.

You will be able to move from one map to another, but when you leave the first map, the next one will not load automatically, you will have to create a new game using a different map, but you will still get to use your same hero with the same stats and everything.

There will be more htan 4 skills per class.. but I won't elaborate on this because I'm not working much on this part of the map.

I'm mainly in charge of skills so I'll explain this. This will be one of the finest aspects of our map. We are making plans to include nearly EVERY skill in the game (We are cutting out some useless ones that just wouldn't work at all in warcraft 3 (like the Wizard's sense spell) and we are changing many spells that we can't really do anything with in War3 (Endure is being changed to a temporary damage reduction spell, for example).
Anyway, you'll be able to learn all or nearly all of the skills you would be able to learn in RO, and you will be able to increase them up to level 10 (unless its one of those wierd skills that doesn't go that high :P )
For the most part, the skills will have nearly the EXACT same effect as they do in RO. There are even prerequisites... so overall the skills in this are going to work exactly like they do in RO.
I don't really feel like explaining how I did all this at the moment, but the whole skill system is up and running, and we are now working on the triggers for individual skills, which is unfortunatly going slower than I had hoped. (Had a lot of problems with Magnum Break, because for some reason Orb of Annihilation just won't work properly on a hero, at all, no matter what...) We should be able to go faster from now on. There are a number of simple skills which will take a short time to do and many of the more complicated skills can share a good many of their triggers with similar skills.

We should be able to put out a beta version of the skill system including only on the swordsman, knight, and crusader class, so you will get to see the skill system in action soon enough.
