I don't think I'll be posting here everyday from now on... I've decided to dedicate most of my time to two projects - my NWN campaign and the Garithos project. While I'll try to write every thursday and sunday, I'll be unavailable for the rest of the week. At least, until I finish the Garithos campaign. |

No Problem! As I said before, it will actually start development this spring, which should give you plenty of time to get the Garithos project done (?). Even if you aren't, you've already contributed a huge amount of feedback (along with Cubasis), and I will look forward to more feedback this spring. I also hope to come back with a vengeance, a sleek story, and ideas for every aspect of gameplay. I am going to PM more mods and figure out more so I can get hosted here. I'm going to let this thread die down now, but to any moderators in the area, please do NOT delete! I might need to come back and check out the material (lots of it...), and make sure that any gameplay wants or needs are met. I'll (hopefully) see you guys in the new thread this spring, and hopefully get started on some work at least. Also, I've decided (for complexity's sake), to follow the advice of Cubasis and try and make do with the in-game models (perhaps re-skinning now and then for different needs). This narrows the list of needed people down to a triggers people, for both needed advice and triggering, any supporters with advice and ideas for gameplay and story elements, additional skinners to create a somewhat mroe unique look then the models included? Hopefully, if it gets across as well as I hoped, we might be able to make another version, like an expansion, that will add more models, items, characters, etc. Since it opens up the continents through additional maps, adding more maps later on would be an easy way to make it a deeper world (almost an open rpg). So where the world would be previously limited, adding another map at the "edge" of the world, to expand it, literally, another continent or kingdom/land to explore. I've also narrowed down the story (it kinda is the intro, but still needs "refining", which I will post here when I get the chance... my computer is down, although I typed it up via word, and was going to CnP it into here. When I get my internet back, I'll put it up). As for anyone else, does anyone except Cubasis or Anvil have anything to say about this game? Any ideas? What they would like to see? It's still in the infancy, and will probably benefit from the public's involvement. Please keep an eye out this spring for the actual start of development, which will hopefully take place here, on this site. Toodles! |
