I just use a free program music converter know as DBpower AMP. It can convert a lot of music files from whatever to wav/mp3(lame). You can also use it to convert the quality, which indirectly changes the size of the file. I would not download it enless you have basic computer knowledge though. It comes with a music ripper that you can rip songs from CDs and turn them to MP3 without a CD burner, but it also comes with this add program that gives you pop ups when you are on the internet. Of course I just removed that program, but if you do not know how don't download it, you can get it at http://www.downloads.com. Yeah FFT Memories is a very good song, I normally don't like that type of music but I love this song. FFIX feel my blade is coming out soon and it is a great song for those campaign maps that are using the good ol' turn-based battle system. About Korn - Right Now, I like the intro, but after that the song kinda goes downhill. Still the intro makes the song very good from some maps. If anyone wants better/less quality of any of these files just post them and what kps/khz you want, or you can also give the size of the file that you may want. About Mr. Hanky the X-Mas Poo This file is going to consider a X-mas special, it is not going to be a real map music(unless you want to make a funny map or something). This songs is just going to be something funny for you to listen too, it makes me laugh. :) Hybrid Theory - High Voltage/Linkin Park Information Just incase you are wondering who the hell is Hybrid Theory and why do they have a song the same as my Title. Well first of all Hybrid Theory was what Linkin Park called themselves before they changed their name to Linkin Park, thus the name of their first CD was Hybrid Theory. Of course the song is very different from the Linkin Park that we think of today. The song itself is a mix of old school rap and techno. Still High Voltage can be pretty fun to listen to for a while, and you may even like the song if you are into that type of music. Personally I am into hardcore rock and some rap (not all rap, a lot of it I can not stand). Any ways I am going to consider this song my Theme song, since it has the same title as my wc3campaigns Title and it has a little cool electric sound to it. About High Beat Songs You may have noticed that none of my songs are really high beat. We that is because I have a hard time finding good (for maps) quality high beat music. I have even started looking into TV themes, such as the Charmed Opening for example. Of course hiya has a very good high beat song on this thread called "bluedragon". It kinda reminds me of mortal kombat, the movie. I just got an idea for a high beat song now :). If I can find it I will put in the Mortal Kombat movie theme in here. It could be very soon it could be a while or it may not even happen I don't know. Goals of this Thread First let me get this out of my system, I am personally sick of and never really like the wacracft III in game music. Though answer would seem very simple to put in your own music and blizzard even gives you the right tools to do it. And I know a lot of people would be putting in custom music... but a small problem occurs during this process though. The size of you map increases by and astronomical amount. This thread will be the answer to that problem! Here is where you can find some good music for your War III maps without the HUGE increase in size. Some files here are as low as 200kbs and modelers/skinners know that a single custom model can go far beyond 200kbs. Yeah thats all fine and dandy right? So why should I add music to my map any ways, I like the war III music. Well another reason to add music, or most likely the main reason, is to set the mood of the game. You can create a feeling like time is running out in a TD, or and energetic atmosphere by using up-beat music for a Hero Arena. Music can enhance all maps, play around with it, try some music on yours, I bet you will find it more interesting! naw thats the Opening theme, Legatos theme is a totaly different song, (but i do like that one ) if u search on kazaa for TRIGUN - PEFECT NIGHT, there is a good chance you will find the correct one, or meby if i find a web host ill put it here... Edit: i found a place to host it, heres legato's theme Trigun-PerfectNight-ThemeofLegato.mp3 its very repeditive, so cuttting off alot of it would still sound good since i want it 2 loop THX |

i mean to loop the one i sent you, the intro is good as is. also when the web site comes back up, u need to right click, then press save to computer (just clicking dosent seem 2 work) Edit: i dont use Kazaa either it has alotta spyware, but Kazaa-lite is much cleaner |
