another coloring challenge!

i cna judge i have no afiliation in this contest or with any of its peaple

i want u to comment on eachother, so i can form a more objective opinion to judge. come one people, i'm counting on the community!

Here are the first three comments(pwhew):

SektorGaza: Nice shading(love the beard:ggani:), but a little bright plus the fact that the lower beard is missing witch gives the impression that his legs end above his hips:bgrun:.

"Misstakes" in coloring: a leaf in the NE's hair is hair-colored, dwarfen "inner" helmet, the NE's arm is partly blank(above the dwarfs right eyebrow), lower beard is missing, outer finger in dwarf right hand shouldnt have a ring, missed a strap in the dwarfs left-most beard.

Moon Lunatic: Good highlighting in the shading but the dwarf looks like he has taken a bath in blue paint(at least its original;) ) and the beard/horn/face color is to close to eachother:bgrun:. The nightelf is really well made, good job;) . The eyes make a strange:bgrun: expession but are well made aswell.

"Misstakes" in coloring: Lots of misstakes in the "inner helmet", the NE's heel is tranperent.

Icbm: Yours is REALLY original, GJ:ggani:! The dwarf looks like an undead and the nightelf looks like a highelf(except for the special nightelf features:slightly longer ears, middle long/short eyebrows and the special hairstyle). The clothing of the dwarf doesnt have a big variation of colors though(brown, brown, brown and light brown):nono: .

"Misstakes" in coloring: a leaf in the NE's (HE's?) hair, part of it is still blank, all the straps in the dwarfs beard are transperent.

SektorGaza:
Some errors in the coloring, you forgot part like the ne arm near the helm. Could have used more shading. The color you used for some part are strange like the hair, first time I saw a elf with dark skin and light hair.

Moon_Lunatic:
The dwarf look like a kid toy:gsmile: Forgot to color some pixel in the hair. Forgot to color the part near the shoulder pad. Im probably the only one who like the night elf eyes.

Good idea with the sun elf but the eyes would have needed more glowing. The dwarf seem to be in the shadow and the elf in bright light.

Devilock138:
Some part are too dark and other too bright. Too much shading on the elf, her skin look burned. The dwarf is nice tho you should have made him wear something on his arms. Also some white spot.

angel of light:
Hair are pink... lol Needed more shading on the elf. Made some error like the leaf.

I admit I colored and shaded the dwarf a but fast but I dont like dwarf tho he has some nice effect like his cloak and his eagle(gold!). I think my night elf is very good, I love her face. I didnt use any premade texture.

sansui:
To much use of blur, hard to see. Theres too much glow on the armor.

Original with the shade effect, look like cel shading or something. The dwaft use too much premade texture and not enough shading IMO. You should have used the same technique as with the elf.

leppy:
Hard to say if the eyes are open or closed. Error in color too, that damn leaf heh lol. Should have put gear on his arms(well... I think). He look young because of the skin but old because of his beard, confused.
PS: Is the elf his slave or something? She have the same color theme as his cloak.

Owning! But you made an error with the elf foot and the shoulder pad doesnt have the same effect/color. Anyway yours doesnt count.:ggani:

Owning too. Dwarf doesnt have a bright skin usualy. Originality with the elf hair. Very good glowing effect, the glow is reflected on the other part and this is cool.:D


NOTE: This is hard to judge other since everyone have his own technique and style. We also had to be original but the question is Does that part should be counted as good for originality or bad for unsual.

WTH my new version isnt on there sorry thats blurry the other one i have which was finished before the end is nt as blurry. but owell

i dont mind and because i saved over it with super shiny version which was just testing lighting and shiny things.

allright, since nobudy volunteerd to judge, i'll do it all by myself (bastards):

Winner of grand prize: Angel of Light!! (who woulda thought!?)
i just think the overall quality is the best, u where the first with a glowy hammer, the colors all feel good together and are pleasant to the eye. not too much effert to make it spectaculair. nice and clean. very good, i award you with a 100 point prize (i change prizes when i wanna!)

2nd place: this one was the hardest... cuz i had to choose between three compatands that i think where really close togheter, and AoL was just a lil bit above the three. the contestants concerning this matter are: |]ark one, Leppy and SektorGaza. BUT i have to pick just one cuz only one can win so... Sector droppes becouse of the funny spot between the dwarfs legs, so now i'm stuck with 2... hmm.... so,
Leppy is teh winner!!
i choose leppy becouse of the dwarves red nose, (looks like hes a lil drunk =P) and i kinda like the green cape and all... looks very sweet. the shading on the hammer looks a bit weird though... but w/e.
i reward u with a 50 point prize!

its just plain original becuz u kinda switched the colors on them... or something and didnt color them as u would expect from wcIII units.. i just like it! u coulda used a lil more color and shading though.. the warf looks a bit the same everywhere. but the coloring is nice and smooth with no mistakes or anything.....
