You could say "whats so special" about any of them... If you said that alone and didnt actually say what you thought was wrong about it then that would be be... hmm... gotta think of a word less harsh than jacka**... fool. Thats just as bad as saying something sucks and I'm sure we all know that saying something sucks is called flaming so, I think everyone would appreciate some explaination behind your comments. edit: hmm i always end up on the top of the next page... |

Looking at #1's face... there's a nice square section that looks very much like it was just thrown in there (CNP) with no attempt to blend it in: |

my skin took about 3 to 4 sittings. I spent practically an entire day on it so i could get in all the detail. Hey WhiteHorn Wheres My Sig from the christmas Contest? |

Somewhere in the range of 6 - 8 hours. Probably a bit less than most of my skins. |

I wont post what order I would give them because I still like mine above the other 3... 1: This skin is really nice. A few problems I see with it are the bad unwrapping for the face, the lack of detail of the platemail? by the sholders/upper arm, the pants, and the belt being to unshaded. 2: This skin is also really nice but there isnt a chance in hell those designs on the armor will show up in an actual game camera no matter what you do to them. 3: I simply do not like this skin. It looks like the least time was spent on this one compared to the other 4 though I do not know if this is true. It is also plainer than the other 4 skins. 4: The detail in this skin is really good except the skin is all silver. It could have used some color differentiation to improve it. 5: This skin looks very professional. I especially like the platemail and the shoulder armor. The only flaws are with the unwrapping which isn't the skinners fault. |

I'm not trying to discredit anything, it just looked very strange to me. The mouth has more detail, and is of a different tone to the rest of the face so that it stood out. I'm not winning either. I'll throw in my opinions to: Skin 1 (Human Demon Hunter Knight?) 6/10 This skin has some very nice areas of texture, but also some poor areas. The overall composition looks sloppy due to the fact that one area, such as the chest armour, looks like a lot of work, with good detail, tone and shading, but lies adjacent to very flat textures (belt, neck, chest emblem). The chest armour, lower legs, and gloves are very nice areas of texture, and shows good potential of the skinner, but the skin overall does not flow with consistancy. Sadly, the most important feature, the face, is probably the worst area of the skin, and this is largely the problem of the skin wrapping. Skin 2 (Night Elf Sentry) 7/10 The overall composition of this skin works well. Colours compliment, and the level of detail and toning is consistant. A lot of detail has gone into the patterns on the gauntlets, shoulder pads, crown and the various armour dividors, with a very nice pattern on the stomach. However, the detail looks bitty, due to the low resolution and wrapping on this skin. Edges don't look smooth, and the armour details do not follow the armour shading. The gauntlets, particularly, could do with some sort of border. What ths kin really lacks is shadows, mainly between areas of armour, to make each area stand out. The crown, for example, should cast a darker, defined shadow on the forehead, annd the breasts are too monotone. Skin 3 (Deevil?) 6/10 This skin lacks fine detail, which isn't too important for somthing to be used in game, but as this seems to be what gets criticised, then I'll point it out. Overall, the model seems a novelty. The three areas of colour (Red, Brown, Grey) seems strange. The red, especially, gives the suggestion of clothes. These could be better blended into each other. The face is the main piece of interest and is very nicely done, but again looks as though it is some form of mask, and not part of the head. The chains are well produced, but could receive better shading. Skin 4 (Shadow Bot?) 9/10 The detail on this skin is top notch, but sadly, is mostly hidden, behind the mask, and in the crumpled posture of the model. The main fault in this skin is lack of colour. It looks like it skipped that phase. Somehting so simple as variations of metal (bronze, rust, gold, etc) would have given the amount of detail more justice here. The Face mask is a little plain, which affects the overall skin, being the main feature. Skin 4 (Elf Priest) 8/10 The ovarall skin flows well, with areas of blue, white and silver used in good amount and nice composition. The armour and chain mail is crisp, but seem very white (giving an almost high tech/plastic appearance). The blue crystalline areas on tehs houlder and forearms look pretty, but the shape and borders look messy (partly down to skin wrap), but contrast the sharpness of the rest of the skin. The boots are very plain, and look like square blocks, whilst the cape is very poor, suggesting hasn't been completed. |

Could we get a normal default game camera picture of each of the skins. I for one would like to see how much of the detail actually shows up in game for some of them. |

AntiHero STOP revealing which skin you made! I'll post in game shots later on. |
