so do you need help or not with the storyline(s)? and if im in (dont know that either), i think turnbased will be hard to trigger, but if it can be done right with no bugs or problems, then it will kick ass

I 'm still, but ive been banned from the PC and my new router wont allow me to read emails, send them or post new topics : ( :< I think it should be turned based, and instead of starting in a swamp start in a village destroyed by the belivers for being not as devout as they should be. The farmer some how survives, and goes to the town where he can work for the darkside or for the believers. I have thought of some ideas for the first couple of holy levels, and there are not just decisions to be made about joing one team - within the holy team you can be high profile (mass slaughter etc) or low profile (spying and assination). Low profile means you could become a traitor to the dark side, and make assination missions easier as you now the layout of the holy base. Different characters can become different classes, which can use different magics and weapons. Classes include Paladin, Fighter, Archer, Black Mage, White Mage, Red Mage, Assasin, Time mage etc. Magics are White, Black, Time, Summons. Weapons are hammers, knifes, staffs, bows, swords. All my ideas so far : ) Tell me if you like them

EDIT: Maybe you could have a mix of real time and turn based... real site for street fights and stuff, and turn based for bosses, and world map fights.

WE never said it would began in a swamp!!!
It will begin in a village that has been attacked by brigands, perhaps rebels (you discover it during the story).

You have an holy level but i would depend on wich side you are with. If you are a guy who obey the order, you would have a high level and you would be a beliver. But if you revolt yourself, you become a rebel. Attacking an innocent man will makes everyone your ennemy.

Real time would be for exploring the main map and turn based would be for every battle.

The hero class would depend on the weapon you are using when you gain experiences:
weapon type: Hero class (primary bonus, secondary bonus)
Bash Weapon: Barbarian (damage, HP )
Edged Weapon: Spadassin (armor, damage)
Pole Weapon: Warrior (HP, armor)
Archery: Archer (range, attack speed)
Throwing Weapon: Ranger (speed, hiding)
Taming: Hunter (attack speed, hiding)

A small list of weapons for each type (each weapon can be of wood, bronze, iron, steel and Galvorn):
Bash: axe, club, Mace.
Edged Weapon: Sword, Knife, saber, Dager.
Pole Weapon: Halberd, Pike, Spear, Hand Staff.
Archery: Bow, Longbow, Crossbow, Composite Bow.
Throwing Weapon: Dart, Javelin, throwing knives, throwing axe, Sling.
Taming: Dog, Wolf, Bear, Tiger, Lion.

What are you thinking of it? :(

Here are my ideas about magic:
you can buy spell book in shops and use the spell as if they were weapons, so it would be the same system. Here is some list of spells with correspondence:

Sorcerer(+2 rebel):
- Spark->electrical discharge->Lightning->chain lightning (3 enemies)->Storm of Lightning (5 enemies).
- Distraction(slow)->sleep->charm(unit can't attack)->mind control(control the unit)->Possession(control for entire battle).
- Blur(evasion like)-> hazy-> fuzziness-> invisibility(well invisibility)-> light control(mass invisibility+light in tunnels).
Mage(+1 believers):
- Magic Dart->Magic Arrow->Energy Burst(splash damage)->Explosion-> Super Nova(damage every unit except caster).
- Magic Shield->Magic Armor->Ethereal Armor->Mass Magic Armor-> Mass Ethereal Armor.
- Illusion(1 illusions)->Hallucination(2)->Mirror Image(3)->Silver Mirror(5)->Mass Hallucination(9 illusions)
Magician(neutral):
- Frozen hand(short range)->Snow lightning->Ice Flow(unit and behind)->Frost Nova(unit and around it)->Blizzard(area).
- Snow Shield(armor against ranged)->Frozen shield(armor)->Frost Armor(slow unit attacking target)->Ice Armor->Artic Armor.
- Invocation of elemental:
water->frost->ice
fire->Magma->lava
Air->lightning->Storm
Mud->Earth->stone.
- Wind(speed)->fly(give flying)->storm(fly+damage around unit)->Cyclone(fly for everyone+damage to enemy)->Hurricane
Druid(rebel+2):
- Mud(slow)-> High Herbs->Brambles(damage+slow)->Moving Roots(immobilize)->Entangling Roots(immobilize+damage)->Forest Roots(mass entangling roots)
- Stinging Nettle(ground fixed summoning)->Carnivorous plant->Huorn->Ent->Great Ent
- Poison->Venom->Mass Poison->Mass Venom->Pest
- Fly Swarm(light for caster)->Mosquito Swarm(attack)->Bee Swarm->Wasp Swarm(area attack)->Hornet Wasp
Warlock(-1):
- Fire(light+damage)->Fireball(attack a unit)->Fire bolt->Flame of Hell(unit and behind)->Firestorm(area).
