in the object editor (not the object manager) find the barrel under doodads then props. then somehwere in that big long list will be the maximum and minimum x y and z values. theyll be on defaul, which is man value = 0.80 and max value = 1.20. change the maxumum to 10 or 20 or whatever big number you want. then place a barrel in the normal WE screen. double click on it and youll see a few values you can alter, such as model variation, rotation, and the scaling value, set the x and y values to 1-2, and then the z value to 4-10 (only guidlines) then youll see a ver tall barrel. you muct have the barrel that it the normal way up for this (this is what the change model variation is for), then back in the object editor, change the pathing texture to mushroom (under doodads) and it has no pathing so you can place barrels partaily in each other to get the wall effect. if you wish to experiment with the x and y values, they change the width values of the barrel bottom to top across the screen and side to side across the screen. but these axis are indipendant of the doodad. if you set y very high and x normal. then youll see doodad streach from the south of the map to the north. but rotate it 90 degrees and it still streaches from north to south as the y axis is the axis on the grid lines not an axis on the doodad

hmmm im still having trouble. The barrel is not under doodads or props but under destructibles. The max and min values as default are not what you say they are. and when i set them as the values you told me and placed them, I double clicked on the barrel and the y and z axis values are gray and unselectable or unchangable. I dont know =/

Okay, here.

Just make a custom doodad out of the mushroom, then set the model as the barrel. Tada.
Make two for a vertical barrel and then a horizonal barrel.

Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinteresting. well ill try and help in my curent state of being more hungerover than a mad mokey bitch on pink crack.
Youre right, the barrel is under destructables i forgot about that, sorry.
The greyness is probably due to some weird setting the barrel has as its a destructable, so do what [Death] said and make a copy of the ruins cattil then change the model. then you shouldbe able to ste the max values very high. hope this helps

This city of yours Gilitch is very impressive. Amazing use of doodads and a hell of a lot of patience too I suppose (I would never have the patience to do that).
Well done man. I'll be on the lookout for more of your work! :D
