well, I tried and I coyuldn't really come u with much, only what I know on ragnarok. The guys on the left are the einherjar, the souls of the greatest warriors to die in battle. They live forever in Midgard until ragnarok, which they have been training for every day since they died.The monsters on the right are the snow and frost giiants. They accompany Fenrir, the giant wolf belonging to loki the trickster. Fenrir has swallowed the sun, and there is only eternal night.

what? I like mythology...

Well, I was bored and decided to try to do the weekly terrain. I'm not much of a terrainer but I gave it a shot and here's what I got...

cool! im from norway and Ragnarok is a norse myth...

The terrain could be better. But I do dig the giant battle. Very cool.
Kind of what I had in mind, but the terrain would be lack-luster.

yeah i agree the placement of units isnt the aim of the comp..but it still looks cool and end of the worldy...about the mk;i also tgought this model came close to thor, but i added lightning(see the sparks) and plague underneath loki..jus thought id add that, but the units dont matter its terrain, i like this competition gl to all

Are you people ignoring me on purpose? I just want some comments on my piece. I want to get better at terraining. :(

the set up is great, nice layout with the frost gaints, and erginhar (not how its spelt, but i can bearly spell in english let alone norsk), look great, id suggest just more of what youve got. more corpses on sticks, maby make the armies further appart to fit in a more expansive wasteland, littlered with corpses and so on, the mountains in the bcakground look great, but ive always prefered mounatains to have random cliffs on them, the angles at which the mountains slope means you dont seeing raising with ciffs, only bands of dark rock, then maby add patches of ice and rock to them. one last thought perhaps some banners in the regiments of the erginhar, just to give them a little variation. and maby a couple of differentlarger units to make it appear as though they have somekind of leaders as well. so far though, great terrain :D keep it up

It's nice khadgar'pack, just not getting the chance to do all... doesn't give me a "WOW" feeling, but it looks nice though... pretty much standard blizzard terrain. keep in mind though that that isn't really easy, i consider it between medium and high quality.

while this challenge is thechnicaly over, as WT6 has just been posted, im gona encourage anyone who wants to ahve a shot at this to do so. i like this Wt, and its had a lot of great work posted in it. keep it up everyone

I am a little late on posting this, it didn't take long, but take a look. :\ This isn't the best I could do, I have to say. Just something I made, and I thought "Hey...This looks like the apocolypse catagory..." The thing I am dissapointed about is that it didn't take much terrain work--- or much work at all.
