Skinning Challenge Thread

MC = Master COntest, consisting of three stages: concept art, modeling, and skinning.

Can we do team MC?
Lets say 3v3 or 2v2?
I will call one after the golem contest

team MC, i wasnt intending that. i meant instead of just skinning any old unit, then saying "heres my skin" we should have a master skinning contest. like i said before, designing whole unit concepts, spells, icons, spell icons, etc.

IMO its a good idea

I like the MC Idea, although i dont know how to edit models. I can do Icons though, so Not a bad idea! also a great chance to get some cool custom units ....
Come to think of it, we could probobally make a pretty big galery of this contest stuff in a lil while.

(Horus, i will accept your chalenge, but wont say officially untill Photoshop is actually WORKING on screen )
(Also, i used to collect warhammer 40k (Chaos) so Muha! Chaotic dreadnaught comin your way!)

I havent been on for a few days and havent seen that, and scince im not going to be anywhere near a computer (Let alone mine) after friday for a while, i think im just going to enter my Goblin Shredder skin..... err... ok....

ok, this is annoying me. i had to reboot my computer before the hurricane (but i backed up all my files), the hurricane came and knocked out my power, i just got it back last night, but my phone service is disconnected until i dont know when. so i cant even post the wip of my skin. i had other stuff to do yesterday, so i couldnt work on my skin. im at a school comp right now.

also, i wanted to have this dranai to have more than one judge so the result doesnt just rely on one person's opinion. i pmed final tyrant before and he agreed to judge. someone pm him to let him know the contest is over. also pm saikkan as hes a really good skinner and im sure he'll be happy to judge. even though horus graciously set back the deadline for me, im gonna have to withdraw because of my problems. good luck all of you.

Ok..... my Goblin skin is about done as i have to hand it in early.. i will post with Screenies when finished.

Just a question: How do i import my skin onto the model i want in Viewer?!?
And how can i get it to play onlt 1 animation? not death and everything else...

Ok, after.. what is it.. 4/5 days now? i have my Dreadnought ready..... If you could call it ready.

I skinned the wrong thing, Ok i know! but i dident find out till it was too late, so live with it... here they are anyway, its meant to be a dreadnaught of chaos (Hey! u try skinning a goblin head to look like a Dreadnought Skull!) so here it is: my first entry to the Skinning Challenge!

(BTW, i kinda had to leave those green spots there because of the lighst that come out of them (Glow).....I later removed theese lights in a vertex modifyer but left the lights fo anyone who dosent have a vertex modifier)
