Allright here it is, Ill post the targa, and the mdx file, so you can see what it looks like.... As for the texture itself, you might want take a look at these just so you get an idea of how the environment is, so its supposed t be a normal altar, nothing special on the sides, just some reliefs or something and it has to be tendrilled... Thats it thx a lot in advance PS: If you want to have a look at what it looks like, just open up the mdx, in Wc3Viewer, I included the blp file and the path... |

you want it to be like a ruin? ok, i go working on it. |
| 10-09-2004, 10:12 AM | #53 |
Yeah just like a ruin, but more ashenvale like, and not so much the ruins of the underwater city in the game, like a little bit darker in the green tones... if thats ok... cheers |

Looks great so far, just worrying about the top, maybe ive made a mistake in the unwrapping progress... I can fix that tough, looks awesome so far!! Thank you so much!! |
| 10-13-2004, 11:26 AM | #56 |
yes, you unwrapped it the wrong way. you unwrapped it vertical instead of horizontal. (or maybe horizontal instead of vertical, im not sure) |
| 10-13-2004, 12:58 PM | #57 |
Yeah I thought so... That doesn't matter though, I can just unwrap it again, and copy the finished skin over it... Anyway thx again |

alright, here it is...uuhmm i have 2 questions. 1 do you like it? 2 how do you unwrap your models? well i can do the unwrapping, but i cant convert it to tga or anything. its just a file i can only open in gmax :\ so how do i get it to tga? |
| 11-03-2004, 03:28 PM | #59 |
As far as you did it, check the last screen its awesome!! I unwrapped it again already its fine now. Anyway I use LithUnwrap, but I usually start by making the actual model in Milkshape, the unwrap it, then import it into Gmax, to do the animation. That way the skin is already assigned to it, before I edit it in Gmax... Also if you want to get it to tga use psp and when you save it as tga, make sure you use 24bits and uncompressed in the options pop up! Also did you forget to post the screen?! Anyway thx again, and hope that helped?! |

lol, i forgot to attach it ^_^ i cant import the file in lithunwrap. or do i need milkscape for that? |
