Dude be careful you're gonna make a 2nd Heart attack cause there are 5 screenshots!

There's only one(#5) that fully lightened up to show the gorgeous colors of the castle, and all the others and in the dark to make sure you don't see anything you shouldn't see ;)

of course there's some stuff that's probably going to change, cause I find the hall quite empty.

This is my first comment in this thread. At first I was hesitant to look at this map because I thought it was some random "newbie" map. When I saw all the replies and views, though, I did get it, and I did watch it, and I did love it. It's damn awesome; great use of camera movements, timing, music, and a great introduction to what will possibly be a great cinematic series.

I especially liked the part where the "lowly peasant" was forced to beat the crap out of a guard and take his armor to disguise himself and enter the castle :D. Reminded me of Final Fantasy 7 a bit (Cloud had to dress up like a woman, haha — FF7 is the greatest game ever made, by the way). Borrowing ideas isn't a bad thing, which I saw a little here and there in the map. In fact, it's good to borrow ideas from other places because it helps you with creativity; people should take examples from other places more often.

Hopefully COTN will turn into something huge, and I'm glad you made the effort to make something that everyone would like. Persistence and patience are two qualities I seem to lack, but I'm glad it is present in your case. What I would like to see next, but not specifically, is maybe some more "adventurous/rpg" qualities, some good dialog, perhaps some battles, perhaps a war, and developing storyline — not a war generated by the word of a "peasant", which was apparently being avoided...so, good job.

I do have a question, though: What is the "larger" focus of this story? The kingdom, the village, the creatures, the life of the villager who was seeking assistance, all of the above, or wait and see as new maps are released and the story continues?

Thanks a lot for your comments ZellDominiko. I prefer not reveal the "larger" focus of the story yet since it'll be explained more in the upcoming part 2 of COTN. And don't worry, a peasant can't start a war that easily all by himself ;D

All I'll say for now si that the "creatures of the night"(mostly dead creatures) are seeking something to make them even more powerful and to overcome their weakness, daylight that is.

There will be some adventures with small groups of people, massive wars and some sort of spying. The story will not be all focused on blood baths and mass unit destruction.

I Hope you appreciate this sneak "preview". The Part 2 is now 85% completed, a few scenes only remaining!

Patience is a virtue!

yea that movie really owns!

As for COTN, I've got 2 scenes left to do, some overall details to add and then it's gonna be up!

Alright I'm working on the final battle scene (this one will probably be a little harder to create because of all the units to control n' stuff).

I'll probably add a small epilogue to the part 2 to explain the plot a little more, instead of explaining it only in the 3rd part.
