[Preview] Counterstrike at Quel'Thalas

Yeah, Magic just has to renew the domain name. Though contact me in private tufy and I can tell you how to get to the site till we're back up.

As long as Samods doesn't work, I'll use this thread as official forums again.

Here's a couple of new things:

First picture: High King of Quel'Thalas (original model: Blood Mage, modified by Tufy to include crown, skin made by Rommel)
Second Picture: A forest of new trees that I made a while ago (they function the same way as any other tree in the game)
Third Picture: from left to right: Alagos Goldleaf, High King, Kael'thas

Nice :D I like the crown on the King, is it the Sorceress's tiara thing or a new model?

Just realised why you were so suprised to hear about Altariel Goldleaf Tufy ^_^

Because she's the main character of my campaign?

The crown is a highly modified tiara. It's actually composed of four tiaras, modified to stick together and then welded into a single object, then rescaled and improved to look good on the Blood Mage model. I intend to do a further improvement of it later on.

Anyway, Silvermoon is slowly becoming city worth of kings. Here's a couple of screenshots:

First picture: Main entrance to the city. You can see the White Bridge, Quel'Thalas banners and Alley of Kings, the street that leads to the Palace.

Second Picture: I'm not sure if I have posted this one before, but it's an old Orc posing in front of the destroyed Silvermoon Palace.

I love the trees, much more realistic than the ones normally in Warcraft. The three mages are awesome too. :D

yeah, its real great, but how come the palace is still burning? ^_^

Good news Tufy! I may have been wrong about Altariel Goldleaf. I'll still chech to be sure but it looks like Proudmoore's Half-Elf daughter's name may in fact be Aelir Goldensword.

Phew, and I thought I will have to rewrite all the dialogs...


Actually that's a shot of the palace right after Arthas' attack (as seen in a cinematic). The only thing you won't see is that old orc (he was added for certain web page requirements).

That brings it to another interesting point, will Arthas speak, and if so, will he sound different?

Arthas only appears in a single cinematic. Silvermoon map is still not completed as you can see, so I can't give any certain details about the cinematic and Arthas' role. I'll try to keep his words similar to his existing texts so I can simply recombine certain of his existing lines. If that doesn't work, I'll be looking for as similar a voice as possible to keep consistency.
