Hey DK, I just watched parts 1-3 and this is really pretty amazing. Keep up the good work! By the way, did you get a lot of your music from FFT? |

Guest | I've just recently watched the whole series and I'm stunned with how it was presented and the timing of the music was amazing! For some of the questions, The more recent scores of music have been from The Lord of The Rings movies, and The FF9 one is Only a Plank Between One and Perdition. |

Hey DK, is there any way to get the music straight out of something like a N64 ROM or a PS CD? I have some music editing software, but everytime I play it from another source, like a GBA, it sounds like shit. Is there any way to fix this, because something, I won't say what, needs the damn music. BTW, are you still gonna use LOTR stuff? It seems like alot of it won't fit for the next parts. Are you gonna use more of the Gladiator soundtrack and some stuff like you had in the first 2 parts, or still LOTR? And did you edit any of your music? The part4 stuff sounded a little odd. Just wanna know. |

What is the quality of the file. 128 kb would sound better but would take a lot longer to transfer. And we'll this is just my guesse but I doubt he'll be useing LotR music again since everyone is sayin the whole story is a copy of LotR, which I can't really see. I say the only resemblence is that they are both ambient and set in medivile times. |

Well I'll be using one last LotR music for scene one and that's gonna be it. Don't want to do it again, too much complains about how it reminds 'em of the movie. Scene 2 will use a lot of Alien 3 music surprisingly. I discovered that I had the soundtrack of this movie hidden somewhere in my room... decided to listen to it... And immediatly started workin on Ellin'tor ;) Right now the music I use is @ 128 kbps. I tested it under 96 kbps and the difference was huge. It was definitely not as immersive. I'm trying to keep the filesize as little as possible, but I fear part 5 will be ~30 Megs because of the new skins and models. There are also going to be sound effects of my own in this one since I recently bought a microphone. The music I use always depends on the mood I want to create. Underground scenes will have creepy music, scenes on plains will give a feeling of freedom and immensity, City music has some sort of powerful mood. I sent a music sample of Ellin'tor a few weeks ago to demonstrate: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=17728 |
