not really great arts. need to learn how to draw in more perspectives(realize most of your characters facing west all the time?) anime drawing is my expertise so I can't help but to criticize but you will get better |

Wolverine: I'm on a third draft for the warrior. Candy_Warlock: Just email it to me. Orin: Yes I do do have terrible preference.....why? I'm lazy! Most of my pics I do while I'm bored which = most usually are never complete (they are pics I did in 5-10 mins - quick sketching) - which is most of the pics that I colored, and certain angles/directions I draw faster in (especially 3/4 and profile) - When I draw, I do it for speed - I don't like to work on a drawing to long (hence why do many drafts occasionally - when I do work for mods). Many of you take a lot of time in their drawings - I don't. Only on a few I do - the majority of them (the most elaborate, more unique art - perspective, stances, action, etc.) are done for my own game, which I've only showed at most 1% of. Plus you can always use a art program to flip them around. You can do a lot of stuff with PS and PSP. Like that latest Jael pic, the actual drawing is missing her right eye and left side of her body below her neck! You can always change things to make them better (and be lazier). There are also many different styles and substyles of anime. To list a few: Anime, Manga, Shoujo, Realistic, Abbreviated Realism, Illustration, etc. (I don't know all of them, but there are many - not including artists' own personal styles and bias.) Take a comparison. The style of art used in say Gundam: Stardust Memories, Venus Wars, Merolink, Votoms, Escaflowne: The Movie, Jin-Roh, Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal, or even Bible Black vs shows like Pokemon, Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing, Shaman King, etc. |

most of the animes u named are horrible ones... except for mayb kenshin n escaflowne. if u keep watchin them, u juss get better by watching . Yes, your pics are nicely drawn with PSP(body) but not the FACE heh... check out my pics in my thread, You may be more skilled in PSP though but yea. And different perspective it not laziness itz skill. I know it because I draw too. your drawing would be what I would call: flat drawing(most of shoujo drawing are flatif you know what I mean.) try drawing in different view( view from above, view from the ground etc.) instead of flat drawings with front views. |

I said I'm too lazy to draw things in other perspectives. I usually draw when I'm bored, and when I'm bored I'm lazy at doing things in a new way. My more dynamic stuff I won't show, there all for my own game (kinda paranoid of people that may steal them). Plus the content is for a more adult audience anyways (it contains several thousand years of violence and a lot of gore - When I draw someone slicing into someone, I draw it in a lot of detail and in far more frames than it would normally be done in). |
