"Cinematic contest GOES LIVE!" is back

Well, about 2-3 weeks ago. I was just too busy so I couldn't get to the WE every day and spent not much time there. But now I think things will go a little faster.

Well im prolly about 90% I need one thing to happen to extend it but the trigger wont work. And its plain as day.

im 5-10%. i think tec ghost died or went to a mental hospital or something cuz he hasnt replied to my emails or posts in about 2 weeks. and since he was the story person i hit my main cinematic problem: stories. i make cinematics pretty well but i cant coime up with no ideas. grr tec ghost, rise! rise! i command you to be awakened from the eternal sleep of death so you can help finish this!!!!! um..... um..... ill give u a cookie! then u can go back to sleep. then youll be reawakened by ppl who wanna congratulate u on your story. then u can sleep again... ok hes not waking up. i need a story person:(

When will the next contest b cuz i havent started yet and dont wanna rush, so u have any idea?

I want to say that I'll resign from the contest!

Orzo and I have about ~1% done, and it looks like that's about the most we're oging to do!

We only have the story (about 80% done, all written by me) and DK's map (unmodified and no triggers added)..........
Orzo isn't replying to my emails/PMs, and hasn't done anything on the map/triggers/story yet, so there is no sign of team-work!

Maybe there's a chance I'll be participating on my own, but don't count on it!

I wish all of you good luck with your cinematics, and I can't wait to see them all!

@ Orzo; I you still wish to participate, feel free to use the story, but give me credit for it, since I'm the one who wrote it!

Nuladion, wanna team up with me? I have a full story and the cinematic is 70-80% done. you can finish it and add some stuff if you want. Anyway if you are intrested, I can send you what I have so far and the story.

If it's 70-80% then that means it's almost finished!
Don't you rather wanna release it on your own??? If you want help on something you can always ask me, but I don't get it why you should want to share it with me now it's almost done?
Maybe I would join you if you had like 10-20%, but not now! Some people might think 'He just put his name under CF's work and tried to win this way! He didn't do anything himself!' ...

Well, since I'm punished, I can barely work on it so it will take me a while, so better half credit then none, right?
and you can add some extra scenes if you want, right now I have like 13-15 mins, and it will be just as much work as I've done. You would have to add stuff, and fix bugs+errors, and improve stuff etc.
How bout I send you the map and the story, then you can check it out and reconsider my offer?

You should just give 2-3 more week Daemonkillar... Its a standard contest man.. if they dont get it in on time.. then too bad for them.. its been quite a long time now.. like a month and a half-ish?? maybe more.. its only 15 minutes long right? so it shouldnt take too long.. i mean.. the terrain is already given to you.. you just have to make triggers and cameras..COME ON!!!!

I agree, this is ridiculous you people can't keep begging for more time I say make the final date mothers day.

I've realized what's my problem! I already said that my cinematic is about 15-20% done, right? Well, I just counted the time and... IT'S ****ING 9 MINUTES LONG!!! While the storyline is only in the beginning... :bgrun: Does that mean that I'm going to have a full-length movie on wc3 engine???!!!.....

Leave out useless scenes. Make sure your character dialog doesnt display too long...
