You make your Age of King AI with so many personalitys ? or with capacity to have a vision on hole battlefield and know in multiple battles where to atack ? if yes please send it to me to try it. Anyway the AMAI insane is a killer i can beat it only if i tower rush him , but if i play with normal buid orders... i have no chance.. can any of you to beat inseane AI ? |

So true, that's why I don't like playing vs Insane comp, but normal comp seems to be so easy. btw, can you instruct the Insane comp attack earlier/mass tier 1 unit to overwhelming its opponent by outnumbering. Me go Human and almost never get attacked early althought me fast expanse all the time. That way will make Insane AMAI even harder. |

hmm, you shuld be rushed by some profiles (Nmes on the computers) and I changed almost all strategies the computers use to build more tier1 units and not tech as fast as before in the latest release. I got rushed my self by a UD computer yesterday when I played as human tried making mass riflemen on Turtle Rock. |

Probably they flee back becuse you do militias, they don't see that it's only militias, they see them *** a bunch with lot od offencive units with attack damage and HP. :) But gneraly Im happy when computers don't rush since they really can't handle it. Only if they got a really big advantage when they rush they can win. |

Yep, first attack it's no so hard to resist, but second leave's me with hard casulties and third it's GG. When you beat Insane you use many towers to fortify your base ? or just relay on your troops for defense ? |

Hey guys thought I would take a peak at the progress of everything since I will be gone for 2 years. Going on a mission to the Czech Republic, So if you send me a letter with all the text I could probably get you the Czech Dialog. :) Anyways, Installed the latest version and played around with it alot, Awesome AI, Mainly though I played with the commander(sorry it's my Baby). Good job with the Dialogs, I still prefer the text version but the dialog makes it easier for Newb's. Zycat, I made The Commander, mainly cause the dang computers AI sucked so this compensated(Thanks to these guys it rulez now), plus I had complete Control over the computer without having to Micro it. Also lots of the parts people said I couldn't do, So I had to do it. At the same time I was learning Java, so it helped me learn JASS better. Plus I kept a Developers Journal, Pretty funny to read now that I have run through it again. I didn't program the Dialog Menu's because I didn't have time plus, I saw no reason, because I liked typing the Commands, cause Unlike the Dialog, I could still do stuff on the screen while typing a command plus I am a quicker at typing. But there really isn't any Documentation on the Typed Commands, included with it. So I dug around my hardrive and found the one I typed up back when I was doing this stuff. Take a read of it and it should get you flying on commanding your computer. I think all the commands are still like this. Hope it helps. AIAndy & Zalamander, If you would like to update the Readme for the commander and include it for those wanting totaly control feel free. It should be close but I am not sure what you guys have tweaked, I looked at the code and it still uses most of the stuff I had in my trigger. Plus the Readme has lots of uneeded stuff. So feel free. |

Wooooow is it really you ?? are you still alive ? :D Hoped to see you on ICQ some day but you never appear there again it seems. Hmm don't know where to begin. We take the commander first. I think we added some more text commands actualy for toggeling chat and such things. Maybe include the text instructions in my new part of the readme file (Advanced settings) where we also will include instructions on how to set default values for language and gametype. There will also be some other godies in V 1.8 release1 like merc buying, dynamic repair control and hopefully advanced use of townportal-scroll when fleeing. Not all is done yet so I can't be sure. well, else we just do whatever we can to bring AMAI closer to perfection. Nice to see you again DKSlayer :) |
