Would faking the Blizzard signed maps be more good or bad?

Nice idea, but something tells me that thats wrong. I think they were just keeping it in GUI so that the Orc campaigners could do it easily, and then just forgot to hide it back into the jass.

if they forgot something like that, after the huge fuss they made about it, then blizzard have got to be stupider than rocks. Now from seeing their other work, i'd say their not, personally i think my idea works, as it gains them profit. Whos to say that if we could use the triggers before they finished the Orc Campaign that we wouldnt make our own ones with them, and therefor their campaign would not be as popular? You've got to remember that blizzard is a company, and as such they are motivated by profit. If there is a chance to make more money, they'll take it. I'm not saying their greedy, but most large companys have to run like this, or they die.

i dont see what blizzard is afraid of. Maybe they arent enabling them because they like to see you guys fight and argue.

I think it would be awesome if they did enable it, then people could make better maps and RPGs, even though they would only be single player, but they could create whole new games and worlds.

I dont see how it could cause a problem. Like fyredaug said in the first post, theres already ways to screw up people computers with the triggers we got now. I accidently found one when i was just learning triggers.

Trigger 001

Event- unit enters region 2
Action- send unit to region 1

Trigger 002

Event- Unit enters region 1
action- send unit to region 2

Thats enough to jam up your computer for a good 5 minutes. So this whole "virus" scare is just a bunch of non-sense. And if someone wanted to screw up other peoples computers that bad, theyd make a "real" virus, or if they really wanted to ruin battle.net that much, im sure theyd find a better and more effective way than a stupid "wacraft virus"

What the save-game triggers could do is alot worse than simply crashing a computer. It has been said before and I do not understand why you don't get it.
