Well, what you need to do is download it, right click, and open it as a .zip file. Then copy the .blps and put them in where ever you have your skins. (I have it under downloads in the map section) Then use TFT Campaign Editor, select the main screen as the orc campaign one, then use the imorted files in the campaign editor to put them in. If you need the path, I'm on MSN right now, so you can contact me. Here's a pic of the warpaint style: |

| 12-22-2003, 08:54 AM | #73 |
custom voices will be added last, once we have enough to attract some soundmen, and trust me, there is ALOT more in the game than what we have shown you (i should know, i'm making the trailer, and theres alot in it) Btw, heres some more storyline. Imagine a system, like any other, with a sun at its centre and plants rotating around it, look at the 4th planet from the sun, this planet is destined to be the battleground for many powerful races, Demons, Orcs, Humans, Undead, Night Elves and many more, but now it is young, barely able to support life of its own, this is the World of Warcraft. Now turn into the void, look further out, past the unstable 5th planet, spewing forth is volcanic missiles into space to the 6th one, this planet is much older, almost ancient, compared to the younger one, it has supported life for some time now, but its harsh cold conditions have left only a few of the strongest species alive. The world has no name, but it will be given one… For something new is happening, deep beneath the icy glaciers at the Equator, where the sea is warm but dark, something new is destined to evolve. Many thousands of years later, a primitive race has evolved, they are little better than the fish they eat, but they have great potential. Another ten thousand years flash by, the creatures now have a spoken language, and are beginning to grasp the basic idea's of civilisation, long before even the Dragons existed in Warcraft. Another ten thousand years, the creatures are quite advanced now, they have given this world a name, Nelaferia, and have called themselves the Nelafari, they are beginning to grasp the powers of magic, soon, but not yet, they will become a powerful race on this world. They toy with their magic, playing with it as a child would play with his toys, sensing it out, toying with it, using it to change the world around them to their liking. Simple things, for they are a simple race. Things such as fish from water, building materials from stone, they are untainted by the greed and corruption that threatens all civilisation. More years flash by, the Nelafari's use of magic has tainted them, but not in a bad way. The magic has imbued itself into them, inside their very nature and physical structure there now rests a core of magic, the mana flowing through them like fire. But this race is careful, calm, peaceful. They draw on the energies gently, instead of ripping them out of the world. They are powerful elemental mages, drawing from the energy of the earth around them to enhance their magic. They have formed a bond with the earth, they are intimately connected to it and have become its protectors. They are adepts in the art of Geomancy, Aquamancy and Glacimancy (Earth, Water and Ice magics) long before the Night Elves even existed. But they are not the only magic users on their planet… For while the Nelafari were evolving down beneath the icy canopy, another magic using race was coming to be above the world. Similar to Orcs in appearance and Culture, but lacking the green skin. Due to the constant exposure to cold they had evolved dark blue skin, best suited for soaking up as much heat as possible. Skilled in the arts of Cryomancy, Pyromancy and Stratomancy (Ice, Fire and Air) they eked out a simple existence among the great ice mountains. They named themselves Astarun, or Skywalkers, as they focused mainly on Stratomancy and its many powers and weaknesses. Focus, there walks two Astarun, male and female, hand in hand, obviously lovers, focus, they are headed to the great sea, for has come near the end of its cycle and is thawed where it meets land, they are on a trip to collect salt, a rare commodity in the Astarun camps. Focus, focus, focus FOCUS! Halk'Aljdur looked across at his beloved, Gil Malang, she was beautiful, at least to his eyes. With her slim figure, small teeth, large blue eyes, light blue skin tone, long dark hair that cascaded around her shoulders, slender but muscled legs and arms. She was considered a beauty, and he had won her as his mate, they both loved each other and this trip was a nice excuse to spend time together. Reaching the water, crystal clear from the cold, they held their hands in the air, Stratomantic energies rippling around them until it formed a nearly invisible net between their hands, apparently made of pure wind. Dipping the net into the water they waited for a short while, then removed it, smiling at the shimmering grains of salt caught in the windnet, Halk headed down the coast to find a cave to spend the night, while Gil continued salt fishing. As Halk rounded an ice boulder he heard a scream, unmistakably female, rushing back to where he had left Gil he saw her in the tentacles of a Cryoripper, a giant frost squid. The Rippers grew to about 20 feet long and 8 deep, with 16 25 feet long tentacles spaced evenly about their base, in between this rested the mouth, a tube with 10 concentric circles of teeth that constricted as prey went down it, slashing the prey into manageable pieces. Each tentacle is capped off with 3 spikes that are used as tools and weapons, the top is bulbous and vulnerable, but covered in hard spines that make it almost impossible to damage. The entire creature is a light bluey cream color, and bleeds a sickly dark green fluid. The creature is eyeless, as it finds its prey by using “Energy Sight a magical sight that allows even a creature completely blind too see the energy signatures let off by all living beings. The mouth was the only vulnerable spot on the Ripper, the creatures were feared by all Astarun, as they were impervious to all but the strongest magic and were almost indestructible. Calling up his Stratomantic energies, Halk created a localized windstorm beneath the Ripper, catching it by surprise it was lifted into the air, dropping Gil as it flew upwards on the mini tornado. Rushing forward Halk was just in time to see Gil fall into the ice cold water. Screaming at the world for its cruelty he hurled bolt after bolt of magic at the Ripper, but too no effect, the creature was using its own magic now and soon it would be upon him. First it would drain his soul and mind, then feast on his flesh. Not wishing to die like this, without honor, Halk called up the last reserves of his strength and plunged into the ice cold water, willing it too take away his life and save his soul. Now take a look at the sea, focus, a Nelafari hunting party, after Cryorippers, focus, the leader, lith and agile, but strong, focus, focus, FOCUS! Staring out at the rest of his 6 man hunting party, Shalis Kal'dun smiled, each one was an expert in the powers of Geomancy and Cryomancy, and each wielded a powerful enchanted weapon, sometimes duel, more than a match for any Cryorippers they encountered. Grimacing Shalis remembered the Ripper they had been following for the past day, it had recently surfaced near one of the known Astarun camps, probably to feed on the helpless creatures. While he resented not being able to help them the elders had insisted that no contact should be made, less the Astarun decide to make war upon the Nelafari. Suddenly Shalis' acute hearing caught a loud splash and his magic sense felt a large burst of Stratomagic, obviously the Astarun were attempting to defend themselves, but Stratomancy would only hold off the Ripper, rushing too the area he arrived just as the Ripper plunged into the water, a big one too he noted, nearly 30 feet long. Its spines would make excellent weapons and armor. Fanning out his group surrounded the stunned Ripper, and as he signalled to move in it recovered from its rather abrupt landing, ripping out with 3 tentacles in a tight bunch it slammed into the chest of one of the hunters, winding him and sending him spiralling through the water, but his Ripperspine armour held out against the attack, quickly moving in for the kill Shalis plunged the blade deep into the Ripper's mouth, filling it with roaring fire from the earth, killing the creature instantly. This was his 3rd Ripper from this 2 month long expedition, a very good catch too. The elders would be pleased. Turning to follow the rest of his party as they hurried off with the Ripper a flash of light caught his eye, ice crystals were quite common this close too the surface, but the light had a strange colour tinge too it, swimming over to the crystal he stared through its transparent surface in surprise at the Astarun underneath, quickly checking out the other crystal the same sight met his eyes, they must have been what the Ripper was after, and had obviously fallen in and been snap frozen, thinking quickly Shalis called over one of his men, and picking up the Astarun, they hauled them off after the Ripper, perhaps they could do something with the poor creatures. 3 hours later Shalis arrived in his hometown of Alishan. Carefully carrying the frozen Astarun to the infirmary, he waited to make sure they would be looked after before instructing the hunters to deposit the Ripper carcass in the basement of his home before it froze solid with Rigor Mortis. Turning to Balishar, the healer in his town, he asked if the Astarun could be saved, carefully examining them, Balishar replied that with Shalis' help, he could possibly channel Aquamantic energies into the frozen Astarun and hopefully save what remained of their lives. It was a slim chance, but it was the only one the two frozen creatures had. Halk was in pain, lots of pain, it felt like he had frozen solid, white fire poured through his veins and he screamed and passed out. Waking up again a few hours later, although he had no concept of time, just pain, once again the fire poured through his body, once again he screamed and once again he passed out. This continued for several days until finally the pain began to recede, cracking open his eyes he noticed several dark figures standing over him, making unintelligible sounds, he was about to make a comment when the fire poured through his veins once more, and once more, he passed out… Waking up several days later Halk felt refreshed, a dull ache persisted but other than that, he was fine. Stretching cramped muscles and frozen flesh, he carefully walked around the room he was in, it appeared to be made from some kind of yellowing stone, Halk had never before seen the likes of it. Feeling a slight itch on his neck, Halk reached up to scratch it and froze, something was not right, feeling carefully on the sides of his neck, Halk nearly screamed with shock, there were 8 slots, 4 on each side. Each had a small flap and was opening and closing in time with his breathing, taking a quick guess Halk closed his mouth and quite failed to suffocate. Coming to the conclusion that whatever was happening, somehow he had gotten gills, Halk carefully checked his body out, there were a few other small changes, his hands and feet were now webbed and there were fins on his arms, legs and back. Taking another guess Halk leaped into the air, and floated, swimming around for a little while Halk once again returned to the surface, it was time to find some answers, some nice ones would by why was he underwater and why was he half fish? |

:D I liked that a lot! So will you need a skin for the Astarun/Fish? He's a main charcter, right? One thing I didn't understand was what was that whole focus, focus thing about? Great otherwise! |
