Join my WW2 map making team

I have remade a casque icon...With new grafics... have a look ;)

I have an idea of one more item for WW2: a spade. Spade should give hero an ability to dig under the ground and be unseeable (like Crypt Fiend ability)... I made an icon for this item.. Have a look...

During making the German Weapons pack I have made an icon for MP-40... I just put it, because it is the only weapon icon I haven't post.... You may not use it as an item, but I think that it would be wise to put this icon as an attack icon (into units charecteristics, where the damage is shown)... Here is a screenshot....

Then, I'll post you all my icons in blp format to [email protected] soon.... Maybe tomorrow or a few days later...

Hi again.... I have been thinking about new items for WW2 maps and invented special bullets... This bullets will add damge to hero's weapons, for example +3 or +7 (like Claws of Attack in WC). I have made a nice icon for this item... Here is a screenshot....:ggani:

P.S.: I hope that all heroes will use distant weapons and this item would be userful..;)

P.S.S. Now I'm working on "dark" icons for abilities I have made... I will post all the abilities to your mail when I finish their "dark" icons... I also remade an icon of Sniper Rifle for Russian sniper skill.... I hope I finish everything soon....:ggani:

Since we lack a terrainer, i am going to just make a beta version of the map without terrain. It is going to feature all of the maps features, with a large river running down the center to attack with ships.

i think having the background color be black on All the icons isnt such a good idea. you should probly have the usa background green , british blue , german grey , russia red , afrika corp tan, and japan orangish red (hmm these might make good Crayola Crayons colors) and have neutral items that you buy have a black background. Artur, you gave me an idea when you were talking about the spiecal bullet item. you should take those weapon you made icons for and have them as an item that the hero can have. he should only get 1 and get an attack bonuse or something. Ex sniper rifles will give hero long rang attack and greater damage but has a very long cool down. and machien guns would have a short range, low dmg but have a very short cooldown. also i noticed that you still dont have a name for the british AA gun, i thought i said that earlyer but its called the 37mm Bofors AA. now for some Item/Spell ideas.
Iron Cross: can be item or spell. would act as an arua that would increase movment and attack speed like endurance arua.
Moltove Cocktail: an Item that would cast a spell like flamestrike.
Signal flare: item that when placed at a spot would call in an airstrike.

Hi all again... I'm sorry for posting for a day, because I was very bisy... I'll think about Jihad Joe's ideas and make some items he introduced... An idea of making colorful backgroun is interesting, but I will cost more time for making this icons... Well, I'll try my best to make icons with colourful background.... Wait for updates...

Maybe it is incorrect to post the pictures of Nazi Symbol.... But I make it... Here is an icon of Nazi stamp, that will give only to Germans some pluses, for example give faster attack or give more health (Jihad Joe's idea of making specific items)..... Here is a screenshot....

Molotov Cocktail is a good idea. But Iron Cross i already have as the Africa Korps Hero's aura. And Signal Flare will be on the Scout's ability, Call in Artillery strike. You may be thinking, "Whats a scout? Call in Artillery?"

Believe me, i got alot more unique features in the game then i have listed here. I am getting more time to work on the website, so it will be up soon. The info about this map posted here is only a fraction of what i have in store!:ggani:

Hi... Here are disabled abilities icons.... I posted them to your Email, including original ones.... here is a screenshot...

During travelling through the net I found something userful(maybe) for WW2 maps... Here are two replacement skins of War 3 flags - the soviet one and nazi flag.... The only problem is scull on soviet flag... But I think that nazi flag may be userful.... Skins are not by me... The auther is someone named Rommel..... If you like these skins, I'll post them on your mail... Here is a screenshot...

I thought you were going to make a new inspire courage icon? I dont think the current one will work. But the others are great! Thank you! Also, about the custom items... i will have them cost alot of money and be very effective. Also, i want the swasticka as an Africa Korps item. I want the spade as the Nazi Germany item... dont ask... its an inside joke. The spade MUST be a Nazi Germany item :D

Hint: Its not going to have anything to do with digging 0_o

Well guys i had some bug with the site or something and it acted as if it was logged out when i was logged in. so instead of trying to fix it i droped my old account and picked up this one. i like those flags there, look better than the ones in that the other guy made on this site(no offence)



i know what your talking about. ive played BF'1942 and the scout class can use the binoculers to target an area for any artillary or ship to strike at. also i got the idea for the flares when playing Wolfenstine-Enemy Territory at a friends and the field ops throws the flares to highlite an area for an air stirke(hate it because i alwas kill my teamates when i use it) Also i think the author of the flags wouldnt mind if we used them as long as you give him credit. isnt that the main reason people post them is that they can be used in a map?

for the icon spells you have i would have an eagle or soldiers saluting for the inspire courage icon. and the exacution icon could use something diffrint. like a fire squad or something beacus it looks like the guy is smileing or suprised in a cartoony way.

EDIT: VonGimli, you might want to make the links in your sig be "WW2 map Post" and "Website" instead of having the actual site adress there.
