THe Vision... Try www.warcraftiii.net the maps and mods section To Linkmaster: Aight, your making a cinematic competing with GreatNoob??? Great and all, but one small thing Looks like your going the wrong way GreatNoob's cinematic was great cause of the *melee* combat, those fantastic stunts and dodges, wicked camera angles. What makes the stunts so good is because they show the true power of the WE, and have never really been done before. Now your cinematic? I personally believe that *anyone* can make some cool flamestrikes with a few meteors thrown in. Not really that hard. Whats gonna make ur cine cool?? Some saving falls from a meteor (awesome, and quickly changing camera angles)... dont go full mage and have them "teleport" away from some fire. And dont fall into the trap of "Super leet omega explosions" everywhere. I could list forever, but who says you dont already have this? Im sayin this based off what i see from pics, and trailers. And hey, try to keep it more secretive eh? Good to show off a bang at release. |

notice...that those are all... BETA. Everyone of the those screens could be deleted, cuz your not going to see them in the cin. we havea a new plan. And how is this going to be better than the vision? Cuz well...it has a storyline. And mages battles are harder, cz for a good melee battle, all you have ot think is matrix the whole time, and what fun is that? Sure it was a good movie, but not worth following TGn through. No im taking my own route, towards originality... so complain all you want. List everything that needs ot be listed, cuz the trailer is the only thing you have to work from. Cya |

I like this better than the vision.. cos of the butt-ugly flip in the vision it ruined the whole cinematic.. well, the terrain changing was cool.. and the .. umm... well, the terrain chainging was cool and the badly timed tree-cutting was... umm.. i hope to see a good cinematic ehre, ;o flame strike for the masses.. maybe you could make 500 flame strike at the same time.. or better yet, 25000.. and then TheGreatNoob's computer would crash.... yatta yatta yatta, what a good plan! |

I'd comment, but it seems like you don't want to talk about the "good" stuff you've planned. Anyhoo... while reading through, I had a bit of an idea. When the pillars of flame are erupting aroudn the blood mage, have the camera spin in the same matter so that the newly erupting pillar is always at 90% of the camera view... I thought that'd look cool. Maybe after you finish the circle, have a huge explosion that makes the whole screen go white -- then slowly fades back in as the land is scorched and the blood mage has morphed into an uberly powerful version of him... then the lich do something to get really big and suddenly you have a side view of these two massive behemoths battling over the tree tops -- yeah.... I should make my own cinematic now. Weee good times. |
