I've also tried importing the peasant then replacing it with an animated box and that didn't work either please make a monkry friendly tutroial explaining how to make a model from scratch if you can for all us sad monkies who don't understand your tutorial :( . |

good tutorial, i prefer the tools you made oinkerwinkle, they rock :infernalroxxor: i was wondering how you transfer animations to new geosets. for example resizing the dune worm, putting a draenei on its back and animating the drenei. or removing the raider orc and putting it on a fel beast and have it animated like the wolf raider? |

I'm getting the same problem. I'm guessing the Importer/Exporter script wasn't made for Gmax, just it's brother program. I looked everywhere for an MDX exporter for Gmax, but the only one I found was by Kingpin. That exporter is for a completely different game, Quake I think. The one Oikerwinkle metions only imports and has an error exporting for Gmax. I'm not buying or using an trial versions of modeling programs :< . Gmax is the only good and free one that I found. If anyone can find or make a working Exporter/Importer for Gmax, I would be very grateful :D . AND I'm not the only one with this problem. While searching for a exporter for Gmax, I found that many people are looking for one, only problem is there is none to be found :( . |

You mean 3dsmax.... err... then you gotta use a maxscript mdx importerexporter man dont export with the arttools |
