The Lord
"'Here they are...' Therranor whispered, pointing to the small human coach. 'Attack.'
Therranor and his Crypt Fiends inexorably slaughtered the merchants, and their bodies were turned into dismal zombies. After a while, the Death Knight decided to look inside the couch.
'Garbage.' He murmured. 'Ok let's go back. Hey... wait.' Duke Therranor said. He seemed pensive. He took the merchant's hooded cape and said: 'I need two necromancers over here.'

- A significant time has passed. But guess what: Therranor wasn't born just when I created it, that means these past things could have happened some time before. Now there it starts, my real timeline. -

'Here we are, the ' He whispered. 'Now you, be quiet. You'll know what to do when it's time.'
'Of course I do, master. They shall be here as soonly as fast and quietly as rats. They'll probably be here in five or ten minutes.' Said an old man hide in a cloak, just beside Therranor.
'Shh.'
'Who's there?' Said a voice behind the Gate.
'We wish to get in... We are just three merchants, who are willing to sell our weaponry to strengthen your forces and gain some money so we can build our own lives.'
'Bah. Enough of talking. Let me see your faces.' The guard couldn't know that they were Undead, because both the Duke and the two Necromancers were hidden by the merchants' stolen hooded capes. The coach's content was hidden by a dark marroon awning.
'As you wish.' The death knight reveals his face. Surprisingly, there was not Duke Therranors' face under that hood, because it has been masked by a face of a worker, a ordinary traveller that wishes nothing but to rest after a hard day of stride.
'Ok... You can get in.' The guard opened the gate.
'Thanks.' Said falsely Therranor, as he goes down to pass through the gate.
There, just when he had passed through, just when got his head into the city, just when he had close eye contact with the guard, he suddenly stand up and yells:
'NOW!' Followed by a terrible laugh. The Necromancers then reveals themselves, and the couch has been unfolded: A large pile of bones and weapons. With no waste, they raise these skeletons, as the guard has his head decepated by Therranor.
Nevertheless, the town had been awarned. An army of soldiers had been gathered quickly, prepared to battle.
'They have come!' A necromancer said, sightly frightened.
'Do not fear, necromancer.' Therranor replied. 'Just hold the gates!'
500 Armed soldiers were coming; the bells were singing, the citizen were yelling. But Duke Therranor, the Death Knight, is arrogantly stand up, with a creep smile on his face. His sword is prepared to swing.
'I dare you come!' He yelled.
'I dare you live!' Came a reply, and they laughed.
'Then you shall have no doubt, for I am already dead! As you shall be!'
'Haha. What are you talking about, you silly walking flesh?' Said a captain, with gibe.
'Of your destiny.' He replied with pride. The soldiers could not hold that conversation anymore, so they advanced, while the Death Knight waited for them, fearless.
'Taste my blade!' Said a commander.
'Sorry, but I guess I won't have such pleasure.' Then, the soldiers stopped. They were mortified by that vision.
'Bow to your destiny!' He yelled, as the Great Army of the dead appeared from the mist, as a tide that is about to ruin a sand castle.

Arching Blades
You seem to be very good at opening the battle, The Lord. Very good to me. ^_^

Firessa was surprised by the sudden attack. A second earlier, three merchants walked into the camp; then now, two armies, as large as six hundred, stood face to face.
"Are you sure we should go to fight, Lieutenant?" said an archer cowardly.
"Yes, of course. We try to kill the undead first. We'll approach a little more, then we'll strike, okay everyone?"
"YES!"
They descended the hill; as soon as they were within range, the night elf archers and Firessa fired arrows, of which one was burning. The rest waited until the undead came to them. But that didn't seem to happen. The undead just continued to fight against the human warriors. But two, a shockingly pale man and the short human-like elf that was Tir, advanced towards them. They didn't fight against each other; they seemed to wanting a vengeance that would hurt the new side in the battle.
"Finally, you are here, Kol! You will die NOW!" Tir cried out.
"I don't think this day will be my last!" Kol replied.
"Night elves! You disgusting race are no challenge for us now! We shall take our revenge! Ahahahahha!" Therranor shouted.
"You, undead, will all be wiped out! Let all the spirits rest in peace!" Firessa answered.
Together, they each charged towards their enemy. Siroff and Kar went to aid the human at the foot of the hill while the night elven archers continued to slaugther the undead skeleton warriors.
"Archers, kill the necromancers!" Firessa advised her troops who tried it right away.
Unfortunately, they missed very badly because skeletons were always in the way or the necromancers dodged them very easily.

Someone else continue. Got to go to bed. Darn! Was really enjoying that story writing.

Pherexio: Don't have much time, but I'll give it a whirl.

"Tir was charging toward him, sword drawn and rage flaring. This was going to be difficult, especially if he had to protect anyone, and by the look on Kar's face, he had someone to protect. Over their years of battle, Tir had learned most of their gestures and signals, and this made secret battle communication difficult. Köl would have to hope that Kar would know what to do. Köl was completely absorbed in his battle with Tir, preventing his notice of anything else.
Siroff however, having no rival to do single battle with, jumped into the tide of zombies and skeletons with his usual lust for combat. He swung madly in every direction, leaving countless undead dead, and countless more undead. His fight would be long and arduous, and filled with the poison stench of the undead's fallen.
Kar was left with many options. She had no bow, and therefore could not aid in the ranged destruction the night elves were raining upon the undead. Nor had she the strength to fight the death knight who bestrode upon their position. She looked towards Köl and, when he gave no sign, assumed she had to choose.
Eventually, a solution came to her. Even though she was heavily fatigued, she gathered as many small stones as she could. Satisfied she had found enough, she climbed into the boughs of a tree at the crest of the hill. She magically combined two leaves into a sling, and placed a stone inside of it. She then put some mana into the stone, and catapulted it out of the sling right at the death knight.
This stunned the knight temporarily, and gave the night elves an open window for attack."

Alrighty, someone else go on from there.

Hey hey hey hey, hold on a bit here.

Arching Blades, now you got me confused. You have just acted as MY character, is that something I missed about this RPG's rules?

Quote:
"Night elves! You who have killed many of our ancestors, many of our most powerful demons, all of your race will die!" Therranor shouted.

I don't have any problem what you just made my character say, but I really have a big deal about somebody else playing my character. I may have misunderstood this all, so please explain... I'm twisted...
That's like, "Therranor laughed, and Firessa said: 'I bow to you death knight, kill me now.' 'As you wish.' and then Therranor kills Firessa."

That's my oppinion though. I don't want to start a fight over here, just to awarn you. I'm really enjoying this.

EDIT: I just got a really simple suggestion:
Let's take this as instance: "Night elves! You who have killed many of our ancestors, many of our most powerful demons, all of your race will die!" Therranor shouted."
If I was unhappy with it, I, as moderator, could just edit his post and change to anything else. For example, I could (and I will) change it to "Night elves! You disgusting race are no challenge for us now! We shall take our revenge! Ahahahahha!"
But as you are not moderators and have no access enough to change somebody else's post, you can tell me in your posts and I'll surely change it.
An example of how useful it would be: Let's suppose I say this:
"'Firessa! You're dead!' Therranor shouted. And after a flash of a blade, Firessa died.". You surely wouldn't like this, because that wouldn't be convenient. You tell me: "Hey Lord, change it to (...) please?"
And I change it to: "Firessa! You're dead! Therranor shouted. But then Firessa throws a gas potion (let's suppose she got one) and disappears."

i don't have time to read the entire thread but is there room for another character?

Arching Blades
I will say when the admission will be closed. Yes, The Lord, I made your character act so as to avoid backtracking, that's simple. But eventually, the two of us must survive for later confrontation. I like the gas potion part. I have input the threat because of the ancient fight between night elves and undead. Did the site functions change then? As far as I know, I am able to edit MY POSTS, isn't it? And as you said The Lord, let's not turn this thread into junk by starting a fight(I don't mean for the story, okay? Just joking about this!) In any way, if I start a fight with a moderator, I could get banned! And I don't want that!

I'll update later... Enjoy and update too!

Ok then. I didn't make my turn yet so here's it:

Let's start from that quote then.
"Suddenly and unexpected the Night Elves appeard. Therranor smiled.
'Night elves! You disgusting race are no challenge for us now! We shall take our revenge! Ahahahahha!' He shouted.
'You, undead, will all be wiped out! Let all the spirits rest in peace!' Firessa answered. She seemed to be a night elf leader.
'Who is against who anyway?' He murmured, while slashing a human footman. 'Bah. That's no matter.' then he yelled: 'Slay them ALL. Raise the corpses! As many as they die, more soldiers we get!'
A Necromancer screamed. An arrow had just perforated his heart.
'Argh.' Hardly he found the archer. He casts a death coil, and with a deplorable scream, she dies.
'Necromancers! I want you to order your skeletons to protect you at all costs!' He shouted. The necromancers obeyed.
'Ahh. Great' He was pleasured by that vision: Thirdy Obisidian Statues came for aid. They started to spread amongst the army and started to regenerate the zombies, necromancers and crypt fiends, and renew the skeletons.
'We CAN'T lose now' Then he suddenly became paralized by that vision. 'Wait...' 'No... You?'
So there was he, Sir Arethan, arrogant and yet glorious, with his blonde whited hair, and a large mustache.
'Sir Arethan! I have seeked for your blood since you killed me... I have dark dreams, and in those, I am seeking for you in hell...'
'Not Sir, Therranor.' He replied with his low, clear voice. 'Paladin. I have now become what I have dreamed in my entire life, just like you.' He laughed.
'Just like you was.' He continued. 'And without your death, I would never become one.'
'Isn't that against your paladin foolish ethics?' While they talk, the battle was getting even harsher, since the humans that came with Arethan were nothing but the royal elite troops themselves.
'Hahahaha! It's hilarious to hear you saying that.' He said, with gibe. 'You said you would seek me in hell? If that is your wish, then I will at least make it be true!' He picked up his golden hammer.
'Don't talk with me about hell, for I have been there, and I heard they have prepared a special place just for you...' He provoked.
'Argh. How disgusting speaking with you is.'
'So let's just end it now.'
'Fine for me.'

They both charged."

Here's how the battle looks like for now:

Arching Blades
Oh, so, Therranor is fighting a paladin... And I assume he is going to win... I'll see who Firessa will attack then.

"Night Elves! Hold them at bay!" Firessa ordered.
She ran about trying to defend her troops as much as possible. But the zombies didn't seem to die, neither did the skeletons. Then she realised another army had come; and also Obsidian Statues. She glanced around; everywhere, an bloody aura radiated... Undead died and revived... allies turning to enemies... and two men fighting each other... the death knight and a paladin... a chaotic battle between arch enemies. She decided to take care of those responsible of the undying zombies. She took out her orb which she hadn't yet sealed to her katana, and lifted it up to the sky. The orb shone red brightly, warmth radiating from it. Suddenly, Firessa took fire... but a fire that didn't consume her. After that, she put her orb into her backpack and readied herself for a charge, a destructive charge. She slashed into the air to create a fiery arch which cut through the troops, aiming for the statues, and immediately, she dashed through ranks of undead, being only a flash of fire. If one saw her near or far away, one would only see a moving flame. Her missile had killed quite a few zombies and had destroyed one of the Obsidian Statues.
She slashed two zombies at a time and others around her were burnt. She aimed for the second statue. She unleashed another arch of fire destroying another statue. And she stood there glancing once more around her. More undead were revived!
"Now I must really kill that Necromancer! But he is very protected by his skeletons! I'll find a way!" Firessa was watching the necromancer, a gleam of hate in her eyes, "Yes! I'll find a way..."

Continue it. No other comments...

Kar: Looks like I'll have to change who Kar was aiming for then....
"...and when she was about to throw the first stone at the death knight, he suddenly turned and ran towards a paladin wielding a golden hammer. 'Darn.' She had wasted one of her precious few stones, and was going to ned more. She began hurling them towards tthe oncoming undead, even though there were so many."

Dreadnaught: Since when did we get an army? That picture seems to show a force of nightelves instead of a small party of them... well anyways...
"The zombies and skeletons seemed to have a new purpose, a true direction of attack and defense since the first necromancer fell -or maybe it was when the woman screamed --he couldn't tell. He also didn't which woman it was. He knew it wasn't Kar, he'd spent too much time with her, but he wasn't sure if it was one of the archers Firessa had brought along, or Firessa herself. It was not something he concerned himself with long.
The skeletons were becoming more fierce as he cut his way toward the necromancers. All the while, the stench of evil and death continued to ebb at his mind. 'I'll go mad if this smell persists!' Was one of his rare battle thoughts.
The battle seemed to drag on forever, but he knew that it would stop very quickly if the necromancers could be slain."

You might not remember me but i made a character a page ago. and now im going to implement him

i will put the bio up again

NAME OF CHARACTER:StormRider
AGE:46
GENDER:male
RACE:ORC
APPEARANCE:StormRider looks as if he has been in many battles. As most orcs, StormRider looks like a brute barbarian, many scars and scratches. On his shoulders are two metal shoulder armor.
ITEMS:StormRiders main weapon is his axe, he has a knife and he has food, mainly meat that has been smoked or turned into jerky for longer preservation
PROFESSION AND SPECIALITY:StormRider is a fighter,he has no use for magic, which he almosts hates.
BIOGRAPHY:StormRider was in the war of the orcs and humans nearly fifteen years ago, under the command of Ogrim Doomhammer, StormRider was a good fighter,he virtues bravery and ambition over smarts, now mind you he isn't dumb,he is a good tactician and will try to find the best chance of winning in the battlefield, but he is no longer a soldier of the horde and is now a drifter. He still resents the humans and the other members of the alliance.
WRITING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:English 3, ive written a story for my campaign www.freewebs.com/shadowwolf27/campaigns.html that is where the story is

Ok i will start.

StormRider just woke up from a terrible nightmare, he never gets good sleep anymore anyways, after sleeping under a tree I don't think anyone would get good sleep. StormRider picked up all of his belongings, his axe,his armour, and his food. He was walking along a hill just when he heard a sound,StormRider turns,he looks down the hill quite aways ,"Is that a battle I see" StormRider was surprised,he never thought that he would see a full out battle ever again,StormRider has been in many battles but not for a long time. The worst fights he gets into now are with individual creatures or humans.StormRider moves closer,he starts running down the hill. He probably won't get too close because he doesn't know whos fighting who,he stops nearly 600 feet from the walls, he examines the situation,"Undead! I thought I would never see undead, hmm".StormRider is deciding what he should do, whether he should help these elves or should he just forget about it and go along his path? StormRider, doesn't like undead either he would rather fight along side with humans and elves against a common enemy than rather seeing undead win.

I will end there.

Edit: Finally a Orc in the story

"'Take this!' Therranor shouted when wielding his sword against his opponent.
'Hah!' Golden runes started to glow around Arethan. A divine shield. Therranor seemed not afraid of that and tried another attack, but it simply hit the air as if there was a wall in front of him.
'Darn you, darn you!' He started to kill footmans, he had no choices. He turned around and slayed more footmans and even some night elves. Suddenly he saw something bright... Someone was burning on fire...
'What the...' Then unexpectedly, something heavy hits his back.
'ARGH!!!' He screamed. Even dead, he could feel the pain of that golden hammer.
But he realized the shield was gone.
He shouted a warcry. He stand up, and with a harsh yell he casts a spell on Arethan.
'Wha... What's happening?' He felt that his right hand was... decaying... Aretan screamed horrified. He drop his hammer desperately and tries to heal his hand with his powers, but it was worthless, since the spells was still being active.
'Hah... Haahahhahaha!!!' Therranor laughed. 'This spell... is so useful! Bow to the power of the Scourge!'
He holds up his sword.
'And I take my revenge. Arash'Tul Naghrêk!'
He decepates Arethan, inexorably.

At one side, the three armies were battling. At another, humans were coming.
'Hah.'
Therranor started to run towards his armied, outlining the Garrison's walls. A small group of necromancers and crypt fiends were going with him.
When he reached the third wall from the gate one, he stopped.
'Now... Is everything set up?'
'Yes, Master.'
'Then, no more wastes. SIEGE!'
The fog that was blocking the human's vision for a while now had been finally dissipated. Although, they didn't know that great meat catapults had been prepared. From that way, a great pile of organic remains had been stored in a large coffin of wood.
The catapults started dealing against the walls. Some archers came, but they could not aim well because of the large amount of blood that was spilling at every lunge. Also, they were not able to find out who was controlling the catapults (for there were no one).

Some night elves were ready though. They came swiftly, and when they reached the undead siege weaponry location, they charged.
'Darn.' Therranor said.
'We are prepared for this, Master.' The Necromancer uttered some words and then a the coffin started to glow green. The scorched remains were shaking, and then, they started to construct something up.
'Great!' Therranor said while avoiding an arrow.
An abomination had been built. "He" yelled, which sounded more like a big snore. The night elves were stunned, but they did not run.
'Let's slay them... ' Therranor said creeply..."

Many surprises huh? That attack had been prepared some time ago, so don't complain about the greatness of this attack.

Arching Blades
No, not at all surprising to me. Undead always make the army grow in the battle in addition to already prepared troops. StormRider will join the battle? May he be welcome then! And Dreadnaught, we never had an army, just two squads at most that is 24 archers.

Firessa assisted to the decapitation of the paladin and the start of the siege. Not waiting a second more, she decided to destroy the last statue. Still in her immolation state, she fired a fiery arch of fire once more and let the humans deal with the rest of the undead. She wanted the battle to finish quickly but now, her mana was getting low which will prove to be unsuitable. Neverthless, she dashed to the siege source. There, a group of necromancers and crypt fiends, Therranor and an abomination were slaying some of her own soldiers.
"Stop that! Death Knight!" Firessa said.
Therranor turned to face her with an evil grin on his face. There they were; Firessa looked like a fireball and Therranor seemed to invite darkness like the light and the damned.

StormRider finds a way to get through a gate. It took him quite some time to get through but he didn't mind. StormRider will finally see some more action as he comes upon a group of ghouls,he slashes, and smashes, his axe is swinging all over the place, more and more ghouls come but he takes on all of them, there was only like 10-15 ghouls, but when there weren't any left in that area around him he just kept walking along, StormRider looks ahead, he sees elves and nightelves fighting undead,he comes up to the fight, rage in his eyes, he quickly starts running toward the fight he jumps into a group of ghouls and cryptfiends,StormRider swings, and like that two go down,he swings again, and boom a cryptfiend falls, slashes here and there, ghouls falling all over,Now mind you that StormRider aint no superpower its just that ghouls are comparitively weak with only bones attached together, compared to StormRider being strong boned with flesh and blood.

What the hell, Andy. You're not playing it right......
You just come from nothing and starts killing everyone..... Remember, there is a huge army of undead there. If you start battling so openly and alone, you'll be killed very easly.

"'You dare challenging me, night elf?' He said it with bide. 'Hah.'
The abomination was killing night elves like a slaughter machine; they could barely hold him.
'That's worthless.' Therranor said loudly to a huntress, which was trying to chop off his legs, though they were so deformed and so tight that she couldn't. Therranor casts a death coil on her, and starts facing Firessa.
'You shall die.' He said, and with a yell, he swings his blade at her."
