Beam Vs PheoniX-VII

It's called the Undercity.


Far beneath the ruined capital city of Lordaeron, the royal crypts have been turned into a bastion of evil and undeath. Originally intended by Prince Arthas to be the Scourge's seat of power, the budding "Undercity" was abandoned when Arthas was recalled to aid the Lich King in distant Northrend. In Arthas's absence, the Dark Lady, Sylvanas Windrunner, led the rebel Forsaken to the Undercity, and claimed it for her own. Since taking up residence, the Forsaken have worked to complete the Undercity's construction by dredging the twisted maze of catacombs, tombs, and dungeons that Arthas began.

Above screenie is rather bland... much like the UD city imo... There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of effort in it. I like the faire fire, but not the city... too... rigid and square. I don't see rotting corpses as having perfectly linear building patterns.

I think the Undercity might be cool to recreate for WC3. Some sewer pipes, green fog, lanterns, stone, and a bunch of other stuff and it might look really good.

the reason UD cities are blandish is cause being undead, they dont need housing and tend not to leave rubbish and junk lying around, i think they wouldnt have corpse piles everywhere too, they'd just be in the graveyards.

Wow... I never thought that the Undead were neat little idiots running around ;).

Looks ok, but I think the ground is too flat, the buildings are too close to one another and there isn't really anything new in that, just a bunch of UD buildings. Good pic though.

thats probably a massivley oversized dalaran shield. And btw that is the best undead city/army i've ever seen! :o the frostwyrms in the sky add an awsome effect!

I don't think Pheonix is faster then Beam, but just has more free time.
