I mean, it's like saying you prefer hex editors for image editing.

Though MDL editing at some point needs to be by hand, I just don't see animation transfers as one of these things, since it's so menial.
Let's just agree to disagree ^_^

Is the start frame the same on every wc3 model? Its hard to tell because I can't see the note track on any imported models

Use an MDL converter to find the frames.
Noob question : what is a frame and where can I find it in the mdl ?

anyway, I tried to merge a single animation but it didn't work. What i mean, sometimes the program says overflow. The other thing is, the program said [Done with single animation] and it has nothing on it. Still don't get the single >_
however, the program is very useful.
P.S : Shadow Hunter's animation is the funniest one :)

hm...I'm at work now, but wouldnt different animation time intervals on the models cause whatever animation you copied to overlap and screw up? Would you have to pick 2 units with the same certain animation time frame (of just one single animation)?

brilliant! I just noticed this literally an hour after I figured out how to transfer (basically..) the anims, at a noob level! Thank god, this program kicks ass! It has a few bugs (when im converting the mdl to a mdx it gives the errors..) but those can be easily fixed with some basic mdl editing :)

Haha, try giving the zombie DH animations, my first one with the prog! Kick ass!!

Do you plan on making any more of these tools, oinker? :-D

guys, if you really want this program to work well at its current beta stage, you have to put in some work... since it only transfers bone of the similar(not same, i dont know) name, so you can actually open the mdl and rename them, and then transfer... :) well its at least better than doing all by hand

Ahh ok, Im guessing it deletes the previous animation and puts the new one right on the end

won't that make two of the animation then? If theres one in the regular track and then one on the end?
