So do you think the dogs of war are a good starting point, they do allow all kinds of different races to be combined. |

Yes, but mainly the Old World.... there are even Undead Dogs of War, aren't there? Cursed Company or something. So, to get started should we do Dogs of War as the first race of this? They would seem to be the easiest: there's always room for the player to buy more troops if he can afford them, and we have a wide choice of units and options to take. Any other thoughts? -edit- Man, I seem to keep posting at the same time as you tonight ;) . Yea, I agree they would be the best starting point; and as for races, like I say, anyone can be a mercenary. There's human, orc, ogre, dwarf, halfling, elf and even undead Dogs of War. |

Yes I think we should start out with some sort of story line (the excuse for playing) and maybe make a test map where we can dump everything in. |

The story for the Dogs of War can be as simple or complex as we like: at the beginning, it's probably best to start with the player simply trying to make a fortune. Then perhaps later, he could be hired by a major player in the Warhammer world to fight some important war, once he is well known enough. |

about the dogs of war i dont know if we folow the stroy line but in my storms of chaos campaign book it stood that the empire hired almost everyone of the dogs of war and if we shall make mordheim it takes place over 100 years before archaon |

Okay, so we're doing dogs of war first? So, we need a tilea map, right? Now that I think about it, we will need a character generation map. We should work that out first. Oh, and my hotmail- [email protected] |

Different heroes, different races, and they can choose which units to hire at the beginning from a good selection. Starting location should be in Tilea somewhere, probably Miragliano or Remas. Miragliano would be good, it's near a Skaven den so we could use them as early enemies. |

to skaven we have the ratmen pack from the dl section just need to be reskined alitle |

I think Rightfield's skaven pack is... lacking, at best. Don't get me wrong, I couldn't do any better, but they just sren't sufficiently skaven-y. They are more 'comical' skaven, what with the gigantic buckteeth, and excessively long snouts. Some don't even have tails. Edit:Erm, who's [email protected]? Is it Paul? |
