As far as exp goes, I've already got that system. Experience is equal to your power level. Max experienece is 15 million, max level is 500, and its hard to get past 300. Don't worry I got everything fixed.

As far as the dragon goes, you can't wish for ANYTHING.. I'd have to make triggers to allow you to wish for anything and that'd take.. forever. So itll make a menu of about 10 pickable rewards and go from there.

Actually, they fixed that, and if you haven't noticed, on their last release, the terrain isnt flat anywhere.. they got it all to work fine. I'll try and see what they did exactly.

Just a couple of quick questions for everyone out there.

What do you think about shared vision for this map? Should players have shared vision?

How should Instant Transimission be configured? Shall I make the entire map visible for Goku when he begins to cast instant transmission so he can pick where he wants to go? Or shall it just increase his sight range and let him pick from there?

Are there any enemies you want playable? Of course you will have to unlock them.

Just a quick update on unlockable players. If I do decide to have a few unlockable players, they will only be unlockable after you find all of the dragonballs. They will be unlocked in a certain order.

Example:
1st time collecting dragonballs - option to unlock raditz
2nd time collecting dragonballs - option to unlock garlic jr.
3rd time collecting dragonballs - option to unlock nappa
4th time collecting dragonballs - option to unlcok frieza

This will also show your level of skill in finding the dragonballs. The stronger the enemy you have unlocked, the more times you found them. I'm currently looking for a goodway to hide the dragonballs and make them much harder to find. Maybe the bosses will have a certain % change to drop them, and the higher the level of the boss, the better the chance. This may get tricky however. You can't just find 7 dragonballs and summon the dragon.. you must find one of each of the 7 dragonballs to summon the dragon. I'm going to put a lot of work into the dragonballs, as you may have noticed, many other games that include finding the dragonballs.. just suck. They don't do anything special like summon a dragon, they just give you a powerup once you get them all. I'll try and find a way to get all this configured right. I'll post back with a bigger update once I get it all worked out.

Hey hexenlordx I know we talked about what we would do for goku's kaio ken, and I thought what if we made an aura model then added an animated texture to make it look like it's moving, and we could make it additive to give it that transparency look, also for sounds I could add sound keys to the models which would be easier so you don't have to use triggers to play the sounds.

Actually I've already made an aura for kaioken.. but as you know, converting animations doesn't work as well as it should. Heres what it looks like:

Zoom (requires log in)

All of the skins are transparent, and the lightning around the aura has a transparent background. However I can't put it into wc3 because it doesn't show up. I guess I'll have to start over and try a new approach.

Hexen how long did it take you to make the Goku model?

Also just make Instant Transmission the Blink Ability with like 100000 range. That way anywhere he's been before he can go back. Don't use your other idea to let him see the whole map, Only because if he could see the whole map theres a chance he could see a dragon ball.

A question,

How are you going to make it so you can carry all seven d balls?

To hide the D Balls... Well that's tricky, really tricky. You might want to just place them randomly on the map, its pretty hard to find a single item on a 256X256 map. Or you could have like a rare system with the dragon balls. Of course the dragon balls will all be rare, but make like the 4 or 5 star ball always really hard to find. You could have an economy system with like d balls.

Player 1: trade u my 4 star ball for you 1, 2 and 3

Player 2: woah howd! u got a 4 star yippy skippy.

Ehhh

make more rewards from shenron though, only 3? the amount ill be playing the game id having them in one day :8

If you made a dragon radar itd be sweet too. Except maybe kinda cheap but youd have to be powerful to get to them.

If you going to make a last boss make it Evil Shenron, errr only if it doesnt matter to you that he was in GT. I think Evil Shenron was pretty godly, and a suitable last boss for a super rpg like yours. Defeating him would prove your godlyness.
Hey another idea though, if you did indeed add Evil Shenron to the game you could make him drop Dark Dragon ballz upon deafeat. With all 7 dark dragon balls you can get a unlockable character. But thatd be really hard considering he'd drop a random dark dragon ball and The 5 people it would take to beat him would kill eachother over the one he dropped.

Here is a little something I did I made kaioken as a seperate mdx then replaced it with immolation added a nice trigger and this is what it looks like.

ok a few things first of all goku never ights brolly at ssj4 first time they fight him gohan isnt even ssj2 second time gohan is but only gohan and goten fight him third time goku and gohan dont even fight him niether does vegeta only 18 goten and trunks so goku never goes ssj2 against him

Dragonballs are orange with red stars and gokus instant transmission doesnt work that way its a mass teleport to a unit he cant teleport to somewhere without ki so shared vison will probably be a must

it wouldn't really mater, in the show he can teleport anywhere as long
he remembers something from somewhere, then all he does is picture it and hes there

Hes right goku teleports by locking onto an energy signature, supreme kai is the one who can teleport anywhere without an energy signature.
