It's not just skinning staff that should have a say. There are exactly the same issues with Maps, Models and Spells.

I agree with what you're saying, but I don't see anything changing soon. By the way, you may want to take a look at the Tutorials section of the Warehouse.

icbm1987	Hmmm... The thing is that no one is forced to use wc3.search ... and there are alternatives to using it. Just use the Warehouse or a host that you have some connection to. Is the reason why people don't want to use the alternatives because they aren't as well known? Couldn't that be fixed? w/e icbm1987

Mock	One that is other databases arent as advertised. Like my site it had good traffic but samods.com went down then I lost all my files to a virus. I just started it up again. I think the real reason is everyone is mad is because these newbs and all these problem represent us wc3c. Like someone said "mooching cunts" they are leeching off of us. Thats why we want our own wc3c database.

Unfortunately... that happens to be true. They take the honor that they don't really deserve. They are more like the bnet forum community than they are like us.

Couldn't we get more of the other hosting services advertised more on wc3c? That would partially solve the problem.

The download comes with simple instructions on how to look on your computer, and how to delete files that look strange or are shown by virus checkers.

I would do both online virus scans (PandaActiveScan and HouseCall), write down the exact location for each of the virus's found (if any) and use my program to delete them. You could do it manually but A) you might not have access or be able to see hidden files (you can enable that somewhere) and you may trigger a duplication of the virus by setting a "obtrusive" command on it. Do what you must.

I don't think you know anything about web coding. You underlined a link to a stylesheet, and if you knew anything about web programming, you would know that style sheets dictate the way the page appears. You also linked to a javascript file that I personally checked out. Not suprisingly, it checked out clean. Thirdly, and most embarassing towards you, you underlined PLAIN LINKS to other sections of the website. Everyone might as well disregard everything you say. Oh, and to show everyone why we shouldn't listen to you, I want everyone to look at his "CLICK HERE" attachment. Look closely at the virus scan window. I took me a minute to notice it too, but look at the scroll bar. Clearly edited. Nice job jackass; is this supposed to be some sort of frame up now?

Personally I think that most of you are using Darky's site as a scapegoat for all the adware and virii that you get from your warez and porn sites. During my many visits, I have never seen and popups excluding the ones you get when you click on a thumbnail.

As for Mock1 and tha_chump, you two really need to stop flaming. Mock1, you advertising in your signature, which is prohibited, has been removed. tha_chump, your comments have been removed from your signature. If either of those appear again, expect some sort of action to be taken, respectively.

Here is the saddest part.....

The majority of the people who dl like crazy on WC3Search have no idea what WC3Campaigns is (nor how to skin, how to import skins and models, or the work that goes into it), and they think they can bitch, whine, and request changes like they are someone important, putting them in their place is always fun, cept when they bring out their what they seem to think as hardcore middle school momma jokes, that shit is crazy.

Oh and another thing, I love how a few of them steal models or skins from WC3Campaigns, and turn it in on WC3Search, and try to defend themselves to the mother fucking core like they did it themselves, dirty thieving 12 year old punks........ damn them.

And have you guys seen the skins section? Dear God that is some horrible, horrible work, I see skins that just have neon bright eyes and then some of them shit their pants saying "!!!OMFG THATS AMAZINGINGINGINGING~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!! HOLY SHIT! THAX DUDE YOU ROXXORZ!!!!" But when someone makes a badass model (i.e. Rightfield's campaign screen from RotD) and puts it for dl, people bitch and complain, demading he change to fix their needs, and say shit like "OMG wtf is that! it doesnt have a portrait! Why is it so dark! You suck ass fuck you1!!!!" I just hate these people... oh had we had 20/20 back when we had the regular DL section.... (or the dl section from 02' that had an orc theme with about 5 files

)

You (tha_chump) got a 1 week ban at wc3campaigns for heavily flaming and posting very offensive texts in your posts and signature about wc3sear.ch
That flaming also resulted in a permanent ban from the download section at wc3sear.ch.

Mock1 got a 1 week ban because he still highly advertises his warehouse page and got warned by several admins.

The decision for those two 1-week bans was made and approved by several admins.

If you continue to create new accounts to avoid the 1 week ban this can restult in a permanent ban.

anywyaz how can u ban mock1 for putting the wc3waehhouse in his sig. Its been around for a long time, th e site id like a brother to this one, and is part of SAmods anywayz another one of ur affiliates. we even got permision before to be able to link to wc3c.
Its a friend of the site. Its only skins models and icons so theres NOOO way its going to hurt the site anywayz.

Vexorian	By the way nathanmx , what is the point of that batch file? windows have options to show hidden files. And huh, I don't think it was fair to ban Mock1 , why not to ban Maverick instead? All I have to say is that I hate sites with quality control that most of the times turn into none outside the staff can submit, good stuff by other people will wait a month before appearing.
