Guest | Awesome! I can unwrap them fine, and you can skin em! All I have to do is send you the .TGA and label what the parts are on the skin, then you skin it, I apply it, and then to find out how to get them ingame... I hope to do that tomarrow. |

Sweet! Sounds Great! I would be on IRC, but for some reason mIRC isn't letting me join channels. Oh well, just post here or PM me. |

I can help with skinning unwraps aswell if I'm needed. The water skin is fine, I've just put it on hiatus for the moment while everything else gets sorted (and me working for other peoples' projects aswell). |

Guest | I`d love to help test the mod, if you need any of those. Netstorm was actually a great game, are there any servers still going? Becuz I really can`t find any. If you need me to help test something, just PM me. |

Guest | There is a darkskies server still running, do a google search on it. Ill post the Whirlibase UVW all nice and labeled when I get some time on my hands. |

Guest | Here is the whirlibase. I added a blank skin, and mine as a reference. I also added a small image as a reference. The top triangle is the top of the dome, the piece under it is the base. The two sqaure, on the dome thing and out on the right are the windows. The two triangles all alone on the right are the bottom of the model, and the inside when the top of the dome opens up, so that you dont just see grass. Look at my image included, and the above one, the render, as references. You should see what goes where. |

Ok random, I'll get to work on this. Though I can get this done this weekend, I won't be able to do a much else on the mod because of schoolwork(Ugh, an Essay, a C++ program, first Calculus test, and World history. I reiterate, Ugh)://// |

Guest | I`m downloading netstorm now, but that site is so horribly slow. Downloading with 107 bytes (!!!!) per sec. Usually around 75kb/sec. No search results on Kazaa either. |

I d/led from there, wasn´'t that slow... well well, hope you get it working. |

i am a former netstorm fan and i would like to help with the mod i am good at skinning, modeling, and triggering some ideas i have: random for the devil maker (missing spiral thing, i think) and the sun disk thrower, if you make the part that rotates a separate geoset, they would be very easy to animate (for me) making them that much better you have probably already dont this, but the blight system is a great idea and it would be easy to alpha out the entire skin to make it invisible i dont know what you can do in the water.slk, but (if you can) try playing around with the way pathing is handled in water so that it is buildable - you could then use the standard grid building system war3 uses to make the bridges line up correctly next edit the bridge pathing so that it has a border making it possible for units to walk down the middle but not exit off the sides Code:
passable = . unpassable = M
MMMMMMMM
........
........

Great another dude! Well we have several problems with the bridges, one is to align them correctly, how would you use the grid system? Explain it better please, I have tried a grid system but it uses too many triggers. Second, it's great that you can model and skin, we really need them both. In water.slk you cant make the water buildable :(, the things you can do is changing the waters color values, the alpha values and some other that i havent figured out yet and one other thing is that blight dont work under water (not that i know of at least). |

Ok, as you might or might not know, I've been working on a unique RPG since november and its finally all coming together. Though I haven't worked on it for over a week now, I've gotten a lot of work done on it this weekend. Once I've finished it I can devote all my atention towards the netstorm mod. It's about 70% compeleted right now, so two or more weeks and it should be totally finished. Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!:hammer: :D :D :D :hammer: |
