Beantony: OK, the graveyard system would be pretty easy to make, but I can see how hard it would be to put a graveyard in every map (I could of course just play it on my parent's G5 (Dual 1.8 GHz 64 bit processors)) ! :o Yeah, I know the battle system would be pretty hard to implement but it would make the game a lot more like WoW (one of the things I loved about it was that WoW had an awesome combat system and that it would probably be more important than anything in a WoW for WC3 map, It would just make the whole game seem like WoW.)
You didn't answer my question on starting positions, though. Please say what they are going to be.
Btw - This campaign would still be awesome without the combat engine.
(In the real WoW I didn't get to see much because I only had a week in a half to play it in open betas. But I also think the terrains are very important. I saw Elwynn Forest, Westfall, Dun Morogh, Stormwind, Ironforge, some of Loch Modan, some of Duskwood, and a very tiny part of Stranglethorn Vale)
I saw the Land of Warcraft version of Ironforge, Stranglethorn, Stormwind, Teldrasill, and Echo Isle (they look just like in WoW). Didn't they give you the maps and models. Are you going to use them? |
