I know how to do all that... what I really need is what you put in the header file to get it to work in warcraft and possibly how you made animations work. Thanks a lot.

i replaced my model with the rifle man his pathway is Units\Human\Rifleman\Rifleman.mdx anyways use my tutorial on how to animate its in the faq

Ok ive had a number of problems, but after reading the posts in this thread I think they might be resolved (the missing "}" and the #IND stuff).

But it still wont work. What EXACTLY are the minimum requirements for a header?

Im making doodads, do they need the minimum 1 bone?
Do I need to put animation text into the header, even if i didnt add any animations?

Please someone tell me the minimum things I need to put into the header to get it to convert to mdx, I would be very greatful :)

you need at least one material (even if it's only tc)
one sequence (even if it's only 1 frame long)
and one bone (even if it doesn't move)
and all the ids must be in the right order

hey? some people are still using milkshape rite?
did they expire? becuase mine's expire so I can't model edit anymore...
so....i need help on unlocking the expire....

Ok Im having VERY weird problems now. I got it to convert to mdx fine :D, BUT in the WE my model breaks up into pieces, and/or jumps erratically around the origin of the map!! 0_o 0_o 0_o 0_o

Its soooooo weird! What have I dont wrong?! Is it something to do with the bones or animation or what?

biax the problem is that you dont have all the verts assigned to bones. every bone must be assigned to a vert, then i believe it should work.

ok, i got a problem...
i was making scroll of healing model for my campaign. i convert it into mdx after i export my model from Milkshape 3D. i can see my model perfectly in wc3viewer but it won't show in the game. Also, will that happen if i don't import my skin?!:D
