"Cinematic contest GOES LIVE!" is back

I check that every time!
The hardest in making such cinematic is that it should have a complete storyline in 1 map! DaemonKillar has several maps for his COTN storyline, while we have only one!

Anyway, now there will be a lot of hollidays so this week I'll have much free time. The work is getting faster.

I will be done. IN 1 WEEK! GUARANTEED! yay! prolly gonna be 15-20 mins long.!

I ran into the problem of space on my cinematic, so i will add two-three more scenes, fix bugs, then get hosting for the first part. After seeing Shooter's cin, i think i might have a chance at winning. :ggani: My movie will be over 20 minutes in length.

Since we haven't got much competitors, I'll be waiting for your submissions as soon as they are done. But this doesn,t mean it's extended for another month ;P

Damn, this contest has been going on for just WAY too long now. Hasn't it been 7 weeks already? DK, this may never end unless an actual deadline is set, one that the people here know won't change.

It's like this: Who ever works on weekend homework on Friday? Nobody. They always wait until Sunday since their deadline is almost up. I've talked to a few people that say they haven't really worked on their maps much, and it seems that the majority of people here are unmotivated about the contest now.

ok im gonna hafta step out of this cuz its my turn on gocd and i cant work on this at smae time, and i cant have 7 ppl or so waiting. anyone want my cine so far? its about trolls and humans

ehh.. i know man.. this contest totally died down..

you maybe have only 3.. maybe 5 at the most participating... but i think you should just end it in 1-2 weeks and see what ya got...:bgrun:

if its bad... try another map contest...i personally dropped out b/c of the terrain.. no offense DK.. but i just didnt like the whole island theme...it was good and all.. im just not too fond of islands...

if you had like a choice from 3 maps or something.. i would have most likely found a map i would have liked..

ehh.. its just me tho...emote_confused Just make the due date close soon and see what ya got... and hopefully their good...lol

I hated this contest and dont want to do another. The map got so crowded with all the stuff i added. Anyway i am about 90% done and hope to finish by next weekend. Dont worry my cinematic will be at least a 7 out of 10.:gsmile:

Alex, you don't have to drop out. Sure you should finish your Gathering part, but when you're done with that you should get back on your contest map, quickly slap on an ending, fluff and buff, and present it. No sense in wasting all of that hard work.

If the deadline is soon and if I won't be able to finish the cin before it, I'll won't give it up and will finish it anyway. I spent too much time on it. And I look forward to show it to the public! :gsmile:

Yes, I'll give CF some feedback, and help him if he needs it, but it's his part, not mine!
I don't want my name on something I haven't worked on from the beginning (I don't mean CF's cin is bad, it's quite good, but it's his work!), and CF has almost finished his map!
