Ok, one other question. Everything has to be new. What about sounds? I dont exactly have frag grenades or machine guns at my house to make the sounds with, so am i allowed to use weapon sounds like that from another game? |

i think it means you cannot use sounds that were under construction, if you are editing sounds. |

1. Can we submit a map (as opposed to a campaign)? Kharma said there was no rule against singular multiplayer maps... I assume that's the same thing but clarification is good. 2. To clear things up for people -- you can use the skins/models/content built in to war3 correct? |

Well, that would be illegal, so you shouldn't do it (unless you have permission from whoever owns the rights to the game). |

You can use any pre-set skin that is in Blizzard's game (the original skins, I mean), but you can't go to www.wc3skindownload.com and use skins that were already made by sum1 else... P.S. I made up that site, so don't bother looking. ![]() |

Selling a campaign is much different than winning money in a contest for a campaign. I'm not going to look through the liscense agreement, but I would guess that the former is illegal. Besides, there is no way to get around using some of the original game in this contest (the game's engine for example). |
