well here we go again, final entry:

Sun´s Blade:
Nigth elve hero adept at using not only the energy of the moon but the sun´s (weird?) He has 2 forms: priest and warrior form(nothing change but the weapon orientation? and the base(int, str))

Priest mode(inteligence based):

skills:
sun force(bonus damage and speed during mornig(sun duh))
Warrior mode(it duplicates the hp but mana regeneration goes 1/2)

abilities:
-Inner Fire(it increases the damage)
-Entangle
-Black Fire(slowly burn a unit 3 levels: 1(1/2 life remains) 2(1/4 life remains) 3(until death)
-solar beam(charges 10 secs. then the caster shots a ray from its shield that will kill everything in its way)

Warrior mode(str based):

skills:
moon force(bonus damage+speed at nigth)
Priest mode(ya know)

abilities:
-Moon song(recovers life)
-Slash(a powerfull blow that can stun the target)
-Frenzy(like bloodlust but it can only be applied on the caster)
-Mad Hate(60 secs. if caster is killed every unit al xxx(not resolved yet) range is killed instantly even if its friendly)

Well, here's the description again, so people don have to go back a couple pages to see it, and I'll delete that post.

Name:Mountain Elf War Cart
Type:Hero

Background: Every now and again, the Night Elves have been besieged by enemys that they alone cannot defeat, they call upon those that dwell in the highest peaks of Mount Hyal. They are an ancient race of elf identical to the Night Elves, branching off from them after the first invasion of the Burning Legion. Although they too seek to protect the wild, these powerful Mountain Elves are more reclas, using strange magics the NE consider dangerous.

When called, though, they will risk their life to defend their home, and are exceptionally good at destroying enemy bases. They ride into battle on their Siege Carts, pulled by strong tigers. They shall stop at nothing to clense the world of evil.

Overview:the siege cart is the only hero with a siege attack. It is comprised of a tiger pulling 2 carts on a line, on the first sits the driver/armer, and the second is a large compartement with large stones to launch from s sling on the tigers back. At the back is an archer who stands on a platform and shoots down enemies in the sky, because the stones are too heavy. So it has a pierce attack too.

Skills:

Mystic Arrows:
Embues the Archer's arrows with potent energy, dealing more damage than normal, and slowing the unit.
(like cold arrows)

Fury:
The driver is sent into a rage, able to launch boulders at a faster rate.
L 1:lasts 20 seconds
L 2:lasts 30 seconds
L 3:lasts 40 seconds

Battle Roar:
The tiger releases a terrifying roar, chilling the souls of the enemy.
(like howl of terror)

Redemption:
If the Siege cart dies, the spirits return and reenter the body for a short time, to slay those who destroyed them. Lasts 1 minute 30 seconds, kinda like a timed reincarnation, just a raised attack too.

Sun's Blade should be High Elf imo, he doesnt fit to NE... Great pic though

I dont like all that cart idea, its more like dwarven unit :/ You should also spend more than 5 minutes on drawing this or at least try to make it look a little better...

Trust me, it looks better in reality. I scanned it in black n white, so the shading was all messed. i might rescan a better pic of it soon.

Im colorblind, but I red that Sun's Blade is purple :D although I think he looks more aztec/troll or something, but I know trolls ain't purple

Ive been dwelling on this unit a LOOONNG time now (all who have seen my thread entitled “Help plz…� knows for how long). FEAR MY SUBMISSION OF UN-1337NESS…8))


Shadowfang Assassin

Tooltip: Light armored, specialized herokiller. Adept in the arts of stealth and deadly ambushes. Uses the abilities Shadow [W]alk, Combat skills, [F]inishing blow and [C]limb tree. Uses the “Blessed armor� upgrade.

These are the huntresses who didn't pass their final test: they didn't find a panther and an owl witch they related to(or other rare exceptions). Still skillful with a moonglaive, these warriors now take an alternative route, concentrating souly on melee and stealth combat. Professionals in killing enemy heroes, the Shadowfang assassins are the rare and expensive elites of the nightelves. Using their stolen heroic weapons, they can take out enemy heroes with ease.


HISTORY (to much fanfic*cough*):

In the year of 5378 before the first war, a sentinel named Stey'ra Starchild failed on the one thing the sentinel army never expected. During her huntress trials, she couldn't find a single panther, or owl, that she related to. On top of that she was as clumsy with a bow as she was skillful with a glaive. Therefore the council did not want to make her start all over again with the archery training. But before they could make up their minds on what to do with this unusual sentinel her onehundred birthday took place and she had to, according to nightelvish tradition, either stay and protect her homeland or go adventuring into the world. She did the least.

Decades went, centuries went, even millenias and those who once knew her feared for her death. Suddenly, the longtime war against the Satyrs started to escalate to a dangerous level when the Satyrs gave rise to a great champion, Caze the Skullcrusher. Under the command of Caze, the Satyrs attacked in broad daylight, managed to take a few important keypoints and corrupting the land in their wake. They penetrated the unprepared defenses and soon stood on the base of mount Hyjal. The Nightelves, surprised over this well organized and quick attack quickly gathered what forces they could and made a “last stand� in wait for reinforcements. They were totally outnumbered, and most importantly, there was no hero nearby.
The forces stood on opposite sides of a small valley, the mid-day sun flashing on the scorched earth. This was it.

Caze glanced at the enemy on the other side. They were going to win this. Soon his Demonic masters would be pleased. He had it planned in the slightest detail, training his troops for the vast sun, attacking in daylight, distracting the enemy leaders with a false raid, be careful not to wake the nightelves who was now sleeping, mobilizing his troops out of firing range of archers, attacking with the sun in his back so it blended the enemy, burning the trees to the ground so he had a perfect battlefield with no chance of ambushes. He was very smart for a Satyr. He saw through the cold faces of the enemy side and knew that deep in their hearts, they knew their immortal lives would soon end. “Time for a speech�, he said in low voice.
“Dear nightelves, we know that you all love your stupid worldtree but if you would be so kind to step aside so we can burn it down we might spare your lives…not!� His army started to laugh manically, this was the very peak of Satyr humor. “Or even better, you could burn it for us!� The laughter rose, and he was nearly setting a new peak of Satyr humor. “Or you could…� strangely, he couldn't speak. Then he realized that he couldn't breathe either. A burning pain spread around his neck, penetrating it to the core. Warm blood escaped. He couln't feel his body. Then he knew it: It wasn't such a good idea to watch the battle from the last line after all.

The rest of the sentinels quickly understood what happened when the head of the great Caze slided off the rest of his body before the sun. Surprised as his army was over the sudden lack of words from their mighty leader they all turned around, only to be blended by the sun. Would there ever be a better opportunity? All the nightelves rushed out and took the first three lines with complete surprise, the rest four were only ranged, lightarmored units so they went down faster than the first three.

Stey'ra received a hero's welcome and the sentinel army were now convinced that what Stey'ra had become just might be useful for future generations.

It appeared that she had joined up with other nightelf travelers. Freelancing trough the world, they had developed a melee combat style for the moonglaive and advancing in the ways of stealth. Together they had created the “Shadowfang guild�, an assassin union for the nightelves. In secrecy, they started to prepare the sentinels for war. Under their travels they had all met the last guardian, they knew what was coming…

SKILLS:


Shadow [W]alk (ON/OFF): During night, these creatures can still shadowmeld while walking slow, only visible for the keenest of eyes…
-Speed reduced to 25%
-transparency changes to 90-98%(?)(doesn't work against invisibility detectors)
-enemy AOE aggro* is NEARLY reduced to zero.
-can be on for eternity, providing that the unit doesn't attack
-cooldown 15 sec between ON/OFF (think divine sheild)
-the assassins aggro* is reduced to zero.
-shadow disappears
-only useful during night-time

In short, this skill makes the assassin nearly invisible and makes AI units look at her as neutral but still visible as a foe for you. Thereby all your units will let her walk by, only attacking her if you brought a invisibility detector or if you directly click her. Walking to close to an enemy unit will also trigger the "AI attack" function.

[s]teal: Steals a random item from an enemy hero.
-five seconds casting time
-3 minutes cooldown

[C]limb tree: Makes the assassin climb a tree, prepared to dive-slash the next enemy passing by, making 250 initial damage, and rips up* the enemy armor completely for 40 sec. The tree provides excellent camouflage witch enables the assassin to shadowmeld even during daytime. Cooldown: 35 seconds. THIS IS INCLUDED.
-Press the “Hold position� button to stay in the tree, remaining undetected.
-Press the “stop action� button to go into “attack at sight� mode again.

*The “rips armor� part uses a new negative buff, simply called “Ripped armor�. This buff completely removes enemy armor for 40 sec. Item armor, such as “Ring of protection�, is not affected by this buff.

Climb Tree: (the original thought-out) Makes the assassin climb a tree, prepared to jump down on the next enemy shoulders. Repeatedly striking her glaive 6 times deeply into the victims chest, efficiently ripping up the units armor for 40sec. The unit is immobilized during the attack, and attacks aimed at the assassin has a 50% chance to hit the victim as well. I'm not going to use the original because of the similarity to PsylisiaDragoon's �blood for nature� spell. THIS IS NOT INCLUDED.


[F]inishing blow: The assassin throws her massive glaive into an hero unit, finishing him/her off if the HP is less 1/3. Glaive must then be retrieved from the corpse.
-Range 500(the same as the huntress)
-cooldown time: 15 seconds (there might be a second hero around)
-Hero's hp MUST be under 1/3.
-Glaive must be also be retrieved(we can skip this part if its hard to program)

Upgrades:
-Blessed armor: Using sacred armor blessed by Elune, these warriors get 1+ armor and total spell immunity.

-ultravision

Initial attack dmg: 35-50 Attack type: Hero(witch means that this unit carries glowing weapons) Attack speed(cooldown time): 0.50 (witch is very fast indeed)
Initial armor: 2 Type: light Speed:500 (Has to be fast enough to catch all heroes)

HP: 330 HP regen: 5hp/sec Mana: N/A

Cost: 750gold

Trained/hired at the Acient of wonders(the playerbuilt shop). It has an extremely long cooldown.

Requirements:
-Acient of Eternity
-Huntress hall

Food cost: 5

Two slot inventory

Editors note:
-Its named assassin in lack of a better name.
-This unit is supposed to act as an secret ace in the field.
-This unit may need some balancing(to put it mildly).
Rough simulated(not in-game) test-outs indicates that this unit can, using climb tree once and finishing blow once, finish off a LV 10 Tauren Cheiftan with 1000hp and 10 in each attribute. The test was made here: http://mods.warcraftiii.net/misc/damagecalc
-especially to modelers, this unit has a GLOWING weapons.
-This is NOT a hero unit, it's a specialized hero KILLER. Its supposed to be a hero's worst nightmare:ggani:, and not to strong against normal units. Since there are no specialized counter-hero attack type there could be an idea to invent one.
-Although this might look like a ripoff from the protoss dark templar, so is NOT the case. I came up with this idea long before I borrowed my friends copy off starcraft and finished the campaign(this week actually). Other similarities: Looks like the original sentinel concept, except mask and different armor, to bad sigh. I noticed Candy's Troll assassins after I though this unit out, whooopss……:bgrun:hope he wont kill me.
-The pic is not colored since that would spoil the skinning contest. ;) Some tips tho: the only thing that is team colored is the glow of the glaive, shoulder/knee armor is totally black, shes wearing a leather umm...suit(?) over the torso, red scarf, white fur over the armor and other fur-color to the fur around the feet/leg,. Remember skinners, the colors should easily blend into most tilesets.

Lil Blue Smurf
Well, I had absolutly no where near enough time to finish this, as I have all of 6-8 hours of nonwork a day, which is usually spent sleeping. Guess I'll just have to describe what it would have look liked. Upper wings are the only part that got finished, and as you can see the wings are ment to look like leaves. The pixie main defense is camoflauge, so they blend in quite well, and adapted by the decorations, and general shape of the wing, mimicking leaves. The general color of skin is that of the NE as they have common distant ancestors, and are creatures of the night. The arm band, and thigh high boots are ment to be team color. The details are not there, as I do them when finishing, but the dress is gown like with lots of patterns that are very nature like. The sleaves and hems of the dress have flowing strands that extend and curl, similar to how hair. The hair is somewhat frayed, with stray curls sticking out rather frequently, giving a slighty unruley apperance. Around the waist is a thin belt on which is carried both pouches of pixie dust, as well as a large assortment of charms and trinkets, as the pixies do tend to like shiny things. The eyes have a kind of inner green glow. I wish I could have finished it, and may someday, but I figure at least this much is better than nothing. (Hope you can see things, the outlines are are a little hard to see on the dark background.) Oh, and the pixie is able to emit a light, it appears as a kind of glow that originates near where the wings emerge from the back.
